Hehe, there was a comic strip about that! So funny, I would link but my photobucket appears to be playing up Image IPB.

And gnas I know what you mean, but it has been the same with all the ME2 threads. Good memories though Image IPB. And this was the first thread I started posting in! I remember I got a warm welcome. The Thane thread has always been regarded as one of the friendliest threads anyway, even by those who aren't particularly Thane fans.

I miss this thread too. It was the first thread I posted in too.
Tasha I agree. I think this thread was and still is one of the friendliest. I think the ME3 thread is pretty friendly also.

If you stay away from the S/S conversations then it is a really friendly place :) Mind you, I think Thane is pretty safe when it comes to people wanting him as a S/S options because he has a kid and had a wife.

I miss this thread :(

Yeah, Thane as a S/S option. That is interesting. I think it can work. Why not? But still... ;)

What Thane isn't good enough to be wanted for an S/S option? :lol:

Having a wife and kid doesn't make you exclusively straight. Yeah it's been established that he was in love with a woman but plently of bi people have families too.

Not saying that he needs to be bi, just that it's still a possibility.

True. But it makes it less likely. I could see him as a bi option, but his sexuality already seems established in ME2. I don't think it would be realistic to have him straight in ME2, and then turn bi in ME3. Same applies for all characters.

Mind you, it could be like J said, they just don't like aliens. The Garrus thread never gets it either.

It doesn't bother me if they don't want Thane or Garrus. More for us and less arguing in the threads. It's probably easier with a human anyway.

We also don't really know how Drell or Turian culture feel about s/s relationships. Is there even such a thing for them.

And yeah, there is never *touch wood* any arguing going on in the Thane threads anyway. I think that if people brought Thane as an S/S option into the thread, then there may be some arguments.

But you're right gnas, they don't know what they're missing ;)

Kaidan was originally suppose to be a s/s option. I don't recall seeing anything on Thane.

Really, to me. It wouldn't matter if Thane was or was not an s/s option. I have heard a few people say, "It'll ruin the character..." And I really don't care about that. I think that's just a polite way of them NOT admitting they have a problem with s/s relationships in general but I digress.

Back to Thane and all his shiny goodness....

I believe Kaidan was suppose to be a s/s option in ME1 originally. I don't know about  Thane though.
I don't really care as long as Thane is in the game, and has well written story.

 Phew I thought all conversation ended a couple weeks ago, so I was scared to check back and find no one talking, but I can thankfully see that I was mistaken :D 

If Thane was a s/s option it wouldn't bother me a lick since for some reason I can't stand playing as male Shep which I think is possibly Thane's doing :whistle:
