I don't know if anyone's already provided the link to this, but we're making a fanbook to (hopefully) fix the awfulness of the Thane romance in ME3/possibly come up with a cure.

So, I just heard this on facebook, that they're making the Mass Effect moved based of DudeShep based on the first game.

Laaaammmmeeeee. As if they haven't butchered the trilogy enough, now they've got to make a movie of it. WTF people?

I mean really (almost got busted here at work) they can't even implement a 'top of page' button and they want to make a movie?

I had heard that as well....but I will believe it when I see it. So many of these movies ideas either get scrapped, shelved, or just start getting made then putter out, never to be aired. I do wonder a bit if this is why they couldn't alter/add to the conclusion of me3. Maybe there are contractual agreements based on how the story rights were sold....eh; speculations.

I wouldn't be surprised if the film is never made. Seems to me it would cost a lot to do it well and I'm not sure there's such a big market for it as before . Even before the ME3 fiasco I wasn't interested in watching a film featuring dudeshep. I think that there was such potential for making films set in the ME universe that didn't feature shepard but that idea along with much of the potential for the franchise was greatly cheapened in March 2012...
I think watching a film with any canon shepard would be offputting for many fans, and could also damage the appeal of the game... If it was made and then carried forward to ME2 they'd probably give Thane a red shirt from the get go.

See now, that is exactly what I thought would happen.  They would make a movie within the ME Universe; NOT a movie about Shepard's story.  bleh!

Tbh I hope they don't suceed in making the movie...but also the first movie won't have Thane in it,still if they ever got to ME 3 Thane will die and that's just rubbing it in our faces...again! So I hope they don't succeed!

EDIT: And yes I would rather have Thane alive! I don't care much about the ending as long as shep has that ending where she takes a breath...what I do care about is having an option to save Shep's love...Thane! Is it to complicated for you BioWare to give us an option to save Thane?!
