Hey...does anyone remember Joker mentioning Thane after he's murdered?

None mentioned Thane. And afterwards Garrus was all "Do you miss Ashley?"

Not Garrus's fault but sheesh.

That's what I thought, but somebody mentioned it on that other thread. I've only played the game through once, so have probably missed quite a bit.

@Sable and Dine...I loved my Garrus romance. Totally...well the fade to black pissed me off...but the rest was awesome. That date on the Citadel? The Gone with the Wind kiss? Yeah, incredible. You know what is sad? The fact that they locked out Garrus for new players. Why? To get them to buy the previous games.

Considering what they did to Thane and Jacob, they should have made him available in ME3. And like you guys have said already, garrus's romance was damn near perfect in ME3. Before I realized what they did to the other options I was just so happy they listened to us and that garrus wasn't constantly calibrating anymore (he actually had lines!) The conversations, the pacing, the little details, the date, THE KISS, the goodbye, the "I love you too". Holy crap! Apart from that annoying fade to black (really? give us SOMETHING bioware) it's up there as one of the best bioware romances.

So I experience this brilliant romance and of course I think Thane was given the same amount of effort in his.  Before I imported my Thane shep, I hadn't read a single spoiler about his role in ME3 and I missed him during the first playthrough so I honestly went in blind..and optimistic. Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe how I felt when I finally realized what they did to him.

What gets me about Jacob is that even though he was a weak character, there was no need to turn him into a cheating douche. I mean, WTF? Who made that decision? It wasn't in his make up at all! Just because he dated Miri didn't mean he was going to cheat.

It looks like they just wanted to write off two of femShep's romances, thinking that Liara, Garrus, and Kaidan would satisfiy everyone, but it backfired big time.

Especially considering if someone romanced Jacob in ME2, they wouldn't have the option to romance Garrus in ME3; it was only available if continued.  And, if the playthrough was an ME1 import as well, Kaidan has a 50% chance of being dead.

Mandatory lesbian for FemShep.

Not too nice in a game about interactive storytelling and player choice.

You know what I wish...what I really with all my heart wish? I wish someone would document this completely in a video form and send it to me. I really wish that.

No really guys. I need this. I might be inclined to post this request every page if I have to.

You trying to turn my femshep into a lesbian Bioware? Not cool *puts sunglasses on* not cool!

I love Garrus just as much as the next person but when I see how much attention he gets and compare it to Thane...my blood starts to boil! It's a total wtf moment with the little time you have with thane and how he's not himself and then he dies...poof...he's gone! It's liike really? Did somebody write this while sitting on the ****ter?....*sighs*

Siefer, even though I don't post in your threads, I just love the way you rile up certain people regarding a certain blueberry.

Keep up the good work.

Hey my peeps, can someone pop into that other thread and provide the forum-challenged David with some dlc ideas. I don't have them saved and have the broadband from hell lately. :(

I'm writing one up as we speak. I have one old idea already but it's way too rough to share as-is.

However, if anyone else want to have go too, keep in mind that this particular poster usually responds to empirical logic (atleast from what I've seen in other threads).

@ Mnomaha I would if I could but I don't know much about the DLC ideas...didn't Coldi or Squeegee know more about them?

Tbh I really don't see why we should explain to these one sided people about anything...they are so stuck with in their own minds!....sorry that might be the whiskey talking! ^^

I know Roxy, but I refuse to let CP think he has shut us up.

Thanks Em! I'm not even sure where to look anymore and I haven't seen Coldi all day.

Yaay your writing one up? You'd pretty much be better at explaining it than I would! ^^

I've read on other people's ideas for a DLC to Save thane which are really good ideas...some of it just never sunk in me brain...horrible! Posted Image

Still I don't think we should explain a darn thing! Posted Image

If I knew where Coldi was, I would get her to put it up. But I don't want to do that in the off chance someone thinks it is mine. I don't take credit on things I didn't do. My brain gears towards numbers and general tech, definitely not the creative type.

Why is that people who find Thane's death to be "perfect" don't consider other people who might not like it?

Would people find Miri or Jack's death (if there was no recourse) not perfect be able to protest it? I think so.

I was just about to ask the same thing  Posted Image I can debate Thane's fight , death and romance execution in my sleep  but a detailed example of an option DLC . Well that I'm not the most articulate about that and I'm not going to try. People who want an example brought to them are looking for anything to discount it and I know there are better people to provide examples that are idiot proof LOL *reads posts above* awesome eme writing one up , fantastic. Make it good girl!

We shouldn't have to but think of it this way:

One person, converted, can convert another, beginning a lot chain of events. Before you know it, there's an army out there of pissed off Thane fans. Or there is in my strategy.

Which would be freaking easier with video. <_<

Miranda and Grunt has a "perfect" death, but they have the chance to live
