Hence I said flirt, not fling. Although that cheek stroking from Shiala was...unexpected.

I did forget that Fem-Shep can technically flirt with Hock but er...undercover so, no, it does not count.

Course, Fem-Shep gets no less than three chauvinistic men who tries their luck. Harkin in ME1? "Good times" turian & the batarian merc recruiter in ME2?

(Personally I found punching that turian to be hilarious "Good times are over" Heh)

I know I said later today about mum's PT, but my brain is not cooperating atm.

Yeah, Hock definitely doesn't count. He was yucky anyways. I much preferred Ken's accent over Hock's. I don't know why, just a random accent fact from Shell.

Hock's accent was terrible! I didn't like Ken's either... but I'm sure you already know that!

I loved Shepard's response to Harkin though! One of the most memorable quotes of ME! "I'd rather drink a cup of acid after chewing on a razor blade"

Also, as many of you may remember, I was mourning my vid card a while back. Well, they couldn't fix it (yay warranty!) so they send me a GTX 460 Sonic 2g as a replacement for my GTX 460 se 1g. Not sure how I feel about that, but we'll see how she goes.

I am fact gathering a bit right now regarding LI's, flirtations, flings, sexual commentary (to Shepard and the differences from both male and female Shep), and gender bias (both in character portrayal and favoring).

I'm working a short day today, and I am trying to figure out how to kill an Ogre (or three) in Dragon's Dogma, once I get done with work. I keep getting my arse owned by those glowing-butt brutes (and in case you didn't know, Ogre's butts really do glow in DD...it indicates when they are "mad". LOL) I almost had big butt squashed last night, but apparently I wasn't quick enough for one of his rushes....crunch! One hit wonder. Dead. Dead, dead, deadski. XD

I must summon @Julia and @wildannie.....perhaps they will pass on words of wisdom. heh!

I love that picture, I really do. Louvette also made an incredible one, but I'm at work and can't post it.

Also, holy crap I forgot how expensive American medical insurance/prescriptions were. Geez, but I guess that's the price you pay for real medical services. Sorry, I don't think I'll ever stop being negative about Thane in ME3. I guess it's my very bad coping ability.

No worries your not the only one that's upset about how Thane got treated in ME3.

I try to be optimistic...but when your lied to and your favorite character get's thrown out the window...that optimism get's thrown out the window too.

Anyways...me I still pick Thane in ME2...no way am I gonna not give him all that lovin that he deserves hehe!

In ME3...my shep is still waiting at the hospital to cure/save her boyfriend BW!!!!!

@Nerana - Aww sweetie. That is where we may differ. I really have no problem romancing him in ME2, probably because I know I won't play me3 (at this time, and possible never). So, I make up my own ending for him and Shepard. And amazingly, it has been different on a number of my ladies. However, there has yet been a case where he succumbs to the illness (at least by the time I rap up MY version of the ending). I am pretty set on what I need to play that game, and as of now, it isn't available. Only time will tell.

I pretty much head canon shep and Thane's future as well,I still have hope that they will give us an option in the near future..but I guess we will have to wait and see.

I had no problems making up my own "ending" since... we were never really shown what happens with Shepard. So it's easy for me to assume she lived, found Garrus and lived on, doing what they do best.

But I'm really struggling with making up a different story in my head when I saw something canon actually happening in game. It's like if I see it, it can't be erased pfft.

ME2's romances seems so... little compared to what (most) got in ME3. Man, I'd love to see Thane getting the same treatment as Garrus. ME3 would have easily landed as the best game in the series. But noooo... Bioware had to forget us and focus more on the money.

No wonder I can't look forward to any games anymore. I've yet to buy AC3, a series I normally threw myself over. Just cause I assume it's the same rushed mess that ME3 was.

Sorry, rant over, I'll go on my merry way now.

Thank you @Julia for those tips. I did read about the Golems. I think my arrows from Magick Bow deal physical damamge, and only add magical damage if imbued by my pawn. I love the "seeking" feature of the those bows (since I'm not so good at aiming).

Magick Archer is loads of fun! I think climbing the golem and hitting the glowing discs with your daggers would be most effective. Bring lots of mushrooms! lol

And you guys already figured it out - the gif is Thane from ME2's amazing Blur trailer. AKA my favorite ME trailer ever.

I've never read the novels so everything I know about Kai Leng I learned from ME3 and this.

The taunting emails he sent Shepard in ME3 made him come off like a petulant child. The rest of the time he was just there getting in the way. I'm not sure what BioWare were going for with his characterization, if it can even be called that. They should have just left him in the novels, imo.

I can't stand that Thane was used as cannon fodder for KL.

Yeah, regardless of what happened in ME3 I still adore Thane and his ME2 romance. I have a playthrough in ME2 to finish up and he's the romance in that one. I have no plans to import it to ME3 but if BioWare ever release DLC to improve the ME2 romances I might.

Okay I know I'm gonna make an idiot of myself, but what are those <ridges> you guys always talk about? I put the word into translator and still don't get it (I guess there is no good finnishlation for it). I feel like I'm missing something fun everytime that word pops up so I had to ask.


Oh and I wanted to share a ME dream I had the other night. In the dream, I was playing ME3 and met Thane. Then I wasn't playing anymore -- I was with him. He took me on a date to some tower where we could see the whole galaxy... But I knew he was going to die later in game so I was more sad than happy. Then I suddenly had finished the game, Thane was still alive and Shepard dead(?). I heard somewhere that at this point you could play as Kasumi and romance Thane. So I tried it, but Kasumi just sneaked behind Thane and tried to attack him. However, Thane was faster than her, and I watched frustrated as the characters fought each other before I quit the game. XD That was kind of a random dream... I just wish I could recall more of it, especially of the date part. >.<

Oh, god the "Deception Rage comic". XD

Yeah, pre-Deception Leng had potential to be a good villain.
The concept art for him is actually rather cool (No "Nightwing" mask).
As are the illustrations of Leng + a Cerberus squad, and one depicting a fight with Sheploo.

Heh, I actually have a small project in 3dsMax to remove the damn mask, I just gotta fix his skin texture and add eyes to his model. (Yeah, Leng's face model does not have any eyes. Lol)

But Deception & ME3 Leng? Worst villain I've seen in years.
I mean, previous tie-ins worked (Feron, Ish etc) even if they didn't require that you read the novels/comic or play ME:Galaxies. They still fit in the games because the characters were introduced properly in-game, and were given enough background to fit in the narrative.

In Leng's case, I will actually make use of him in my head-canon fic. Needless to say he won't be as "Trololol" as in ME3 & Deception. More Retribution style; xenophobic, lethal, homicidal and arrogant to boot.

And no, there will be no drell jumping on that sword of his, which I've retconned to be an "omni-sword" instead.
Because metal swords? Wait wut?
Also, it will be more akin to a chinese Jian or Dao than a japanese ninjato.

Meh, now it feels like I've ramnbled too much about Leng.


And I'll be updating on mum's PT tonight; once we finish Tali's LM we've got Legion's RM and LM, the N7 missions, and the DLC missions left before the SM.
