Mammaries + avian/reptilian species = sexy? In what universe? I find it plain awkward, but that's probably because I did a lot of biology in undergrad. It's a pet peeve of mine in character design, whether that's fanart or official (for example, female dragonborn in the D&D games).

I'm a little concerned about Chris Priestly's post in a thread "BioWare ,are you really listening?" or something like that. Does anyone here know if changing all the mess with Thane is even technically possible? Or this is going to be a good excuse for BioWare not to give as an option to save him? I know that someone at BioWare tweeted that "death retcon" is unlikely, but is that really impossible or they're just trying to silence us?
What really pissed me off in that thread is a jerk, who said that he doesn't want Thane to live and why would BioWare listen to us instead of him...and all this talk about how awesome Thane's death was. I think that SaveThane campaign is getting the most hate from other fans...
TBH I'm going to side with Priestly here. There is literally no way for the devs to implement everything that everyone wants. There's no way to even implement a sizeable fraction of that. My boyfriend worked on God of War III as a build engineer--he'd spend days trying to figure out how to fix a bug that only affected a few seconds of gameplay. Adding stuff (or subtracting already implemented stuff) from a game doesn't scale linearly in terms of difficulty for developers--it scales exponentially. And the unfortunate reality is that often, the enemy of good is better.
David Gaider and Allan Schumacher addressed this in the DA forums. Just because the devs didn't implement exactly the features, characters, and plot one specific player wanted doesn't mean they don't listen. But it's advice. Feedback. It's nothing more than that, a pulse on the fandom, and it has a far more subtle effect on the games than most BSNers would like to think.
As for the fandom's view of the SaveThane campaign, this is why I've been so adamant about minding what we say. Directing our anger toward the devs or toward other fans (calling them stupid, sexist, ignorant, etc.) isn't the way to go about getting change or sympathy--all it does is make them defensive, and rightly so. I'm not saying this is a thing that happens frequently, or that it's restricted to Thane's supporters, but it happened often enough in the aftermath of ME3 to form a distorted impression.
This all adds up to the bitter reality that BioWare is not likely to do anything about Thane, Jacob, or the other ME2 LIs. But now we have proven, relatively hard-hitting modding tools, and we might be able to do something about it ourselves. IMO it beats waiting.
