@Beanie - Anytime, darlin'!

Just an FYI, I have the whole dialogue (plus the LotSB Letter) from me3, and a dialogue analysis on my dA page. I'm also coldwetn0se on dA. Forewarning; the analysis was during a "ranty" period, so there are some fairly snarky remarks. I never really edited it, so......

@Sable - I agree with Beanie about the lack of research that went into his small portion in me3. I love science, but only employ basic knowledge in the subject. Without "looking" for problems in Thane's content, it *smacked* me in the face with them...no need to go looking. I was literally in shock at what came out of Thane's pixelated mouth, AND Shepard's. And yes, it does go beyond the mere changing of his disease come me3. I think most writers (who were not the original creator of said content) realize that a certain level of research is necessary with established lore and characters. I know that I research for much of what I write (hell, even some of my rants have been researched...hehe), and I am not writing anything of import for sale or the sake of millions who follow said storyline(s).
I make no claim to know WHY his character and various arc's were not adhered to, come the third game. Whatever the reason was, it really was a dropped ball. I will not make disparaging remarks about the writer's overall ability, since we don't know what the reasons were for such sloppy mistakes. Time, money, lack of interns, drawing of the "short straw", whatever it was, Thane's part was just one of many that I couldn't get past.

On another note......! Happy T-day week, everybody. Hope to see any/all around the thread, over the coming holidays. I am cooking, as usual, but I will be popping in here from time to time.
**EDIT**
Forgot to add: @julia_xo was the one that provided me with the in-game dialogue for Thane and Shepard. She was seriously johnny-on-the-spot with the content last summer.
@mnomaha - gyrl, where you been hiding?
