Yup I did it. I got green and black weaves and slices in my hair. ^_^

Very nice!  Just don't also get the ridges, those don't look like they'd work on a human

I'm jealous.  Black hair is impossible to dye without bleaching it to death.

Apparently I may have misread (easy to do on twitter) but these *seem* to be those promos that you miss out on if you don't pre-order or pre-order from a certain store? IDK, free is free. Nice hair chica!

Oh, believe me, I do actually have an idea about that. It's taken nearly a month to get this done, and I had to have my hair bleached to all buggary too, because, while my hair is blonde, it is a dark golden blonde that has had a fair bit of colour in it, specifically a very dark red, and jet black (it looked AWESOME!). So yeah... it took a lot of work. I was in the chair for 3.5 hours today. 4 last week, and 3 two weeks before that.

I gots a LOT of hair.

....

Wait, sable! What are you saying?! The ridges would work GREAT on a human, just not a female one...

Oh. OOOH!!! You mean the OTHER head ridges. Right, well, um *cough*. Never mind then.:innocent:

This is weird.  I just did the ones for the PC, and the DAO ones are there, but I  can't download them.  In the final column on myregistered content page it has "---".  Not "More", "download", or anything like that.

I don't have my copy of DAO linked to this account, but I  don't have a copy of DA2, period, and that stuff seems available.

Edit -- I  just registered my copy of DAO and it's all still unclickable :crying:

Any thoughts, ladies?

I think it's automatically added to the game. I clicked the More Info option for a DA2 one and it said reload the game and it would be in a chest in Hawke's house or something. :S

Phew. Essay has been updated on the Thane Fanbook DA page. This time in Thane-dom: ME2 Kepral's Syndrome and Cystic Fibrosis, plus a rewritten Allusions and Avenues to a Treatment or Cure. That last bit is so much better now. I'm getting much better with every version I write.

Bloody good thing too since I'm essentially criticising the works of professional writers. Can't muck this up or I'd do more harm than good.

Next up: ME3 Kepral's Syndrome and Sickle Cell Disease. *sigh* Be-e-e-e-eanie!

Not tonight though. Bed now. Tired.

Sorry for the double post. I'll make it up to you though.

I think DAO is different, though.  I think I need to actually download it before the game can see it -- which, I can't do right now. :(

Also, interesting thread in the ME3 Story forums.

Ok, for anyone on PC, like myself, go here to download all the packages:

http://dragonage.wik...al_installation

Then install them manually with the daupdater application.

Silly BioWare. You'd think they'd have links to the actual files in the "my redeemed content" part of your profile.

Oh my, someone was really that desperate to spoil the survey? I can't imagine a person who would do that... Living in a  basement? No friends? No school/work? Clearly it required much time and effort. I'm almost impressed.

Anyway, good catch. :)

-------------------------

I started to like the ending (but only destroy) and I don't know why. Maybe comparing to the atrocity of me2 character's treatment it wasn't that bad after all? It's not a game breaking part anymore. Damn, I so much want to finish the game with my canon Shep. :(

Hm, looking a bit closer at some of this content, it matches the format of my Blood Dragon Armour and the feastday prnaks. I think you have to buy it from a vendor.

I got the DAO stuff to work with the xbox, but not the PC. @giftfish did post some work around instructions a few posts back. May have to give those a go.

There's always the ending mod if you're on PC.  And if you're not, you could just hook up a laptop to your screen as soon as you start to get toward the end, turn off the console, and watch the modded ending :)

@giftfish:  Yikes at the survey.  Still, good to know most people were completely honest.

Going back through older ME3cosmiclove posts, I saw a comment about Ashley saying if mShep got to romance both VSs, BWshould have made Ashley romanceable by fShep, too. I like the equality sentiment but my gut reaction was "I don't want another lesbian romance option." *sigh*

Yeah, I totally agree. But I'd make an exception for Ash. I did not get the logic of only making Kaidan bi. People could say that it would damage Ash's character. but it was already damaged in ME3. Plus you could make the same case for Kaidan by saying making him bi was too sudden.

I want more straight romances for femShep, but it's really puzzling they didn't jump on an opportunity to have more lesbian options. Did someone stop liking Ash? Or was she getting in the way of the blue waifu?

I have made a decision. Totally irrelevant but I'm saying it anyway.

I'm going to put my canon Shepard through Skyrim. I think that would be fun. And plus... Margurite and Thane will be able to get married now! Thank the gods for renmiri's Thane mod! <3

You know, I actually wouldn't mind *too* much if Ash was bi, but I'm glad she's not as well. Yeah, I wouldn't mind a bi Ash if it was done properly, but, well, this is BioWare we're talking about. It wouldn't have been done properly.

Oh, dear gods, that's so depressing! I was just watching old Zero Punctuation videos while editing the essay last night and the ME2 vid had a line that expressly stated that BioWare don't score points for good writing, since they had such a good reputation as story tellers. Now, we're saying that all the good ideas that could have been implemented would have been ****e, because BioWare, formerly the ONLY company that actually produced quality work, is in itself too ****e to produce anything better than a 14 year olds...

Oh, how far the gods have fallen.

Anyway, what was I saying. Oh, yes, I am glad that Ash isn't gay, but wouldn't mind bi if it was done properly, but even if it wasn't, for those who wanted to romance Ash, there could have easily been a scene where Shep confronts Ash, and Ash let's her down as gently as possible. That would have been nice.

There are so many things that would have been nice.

But then, like Askeebee said, the thought of another lesbian encounter does also make me wanna puke.

Kudos to the guy who did the make the equality comment though. That was nice. Just need to apply it to Thane now.

Oh, and my Thane plushie only just saw my new hair. He was... shocked... to say the least. :P

Oh, and you wouldn't belive it, but Mum actually just asked me "Why green?" (She's had green hair, or a green human hair wig, before and didn't like it, so that may be why. But then I recall that she also didn't like my red and black hair either. :S ) And she knows about my fangirling so I just told her to go look on the wall of the office, where my gorgeous Thane poster is hanging, above my Thane figuring, and my Thane plushie.

I may have a(nother) problem. A drelliscious problem.:P

Why would anyone spend time to submit that many surveys? That is really pathetic and incredibly sad. Although I'm surprised that the people looking at the results didn't catch this earlier, seems like standard procedure? Oh well, at least this means that the results for people who wanted a cure for Thane will be much higher! I'll be waiting for the revised results for that one.

Yep, it was our mistake.

There was a misunderstanding about what data Survey Monkey excluded prior to summarizing the survey results into all those pretty charts, etc that are contained in the report.  Namely, it doesn't exclude any data, unless you tell it to -- nor does it prevent the submission of multiple surveys from duplicate IPs witn 100% accuracy, or any accuracy, really.  The data contained in the .xls files wasn't closely examined until recently, as a result, but once it was examined the duplicate data were immediately apparent.
