I honestly haven't been paying attention to it. I didn't even know it had a name yet. Citadel dlc? Geez, too lazy to give us another hub world. Damn, we can't even go back to Omega and that's a **** hole. I don't think they could find their way forward out of a ripped wet paper bag.

Ahhh the newest/latest/possibly last DLC....hmmmm....first, I think it is just those clever gamers who data mined the last DLC's and patches, that found files unrelated to anything we have seen so far. Most of them have a file title CIT, I believe (or something like that). So they just started calling it the Citadel DLC. My guess is they have an incredible opportunity, but that the chance of us getting any "substantial" content for Thane is unlikely. That doesn't mean they wouldn't potentially add "some" new content for his character, but at best I would guess a bit of dialogue....maybe throw a bone to us Thanemancer and tack-on "Siha" at the end of it. This may seem pessimistic of me, and by god I would love for them to surprise us, but.........I guess we will see, when we see. Doesn't hurt to make some noise about our favorite green alien in the meantime....and who knows......*shrug*.

So how's the PT coming, mnomaha? I am just about done with a play through in Dragon's Dogma, and thinking of picking up a few unfinished Warden's, Hawkes, and Sheps (in ME1 & 2 only). DD has been good for mindless fun (and a great character creator and class system), but the story is not anything to write home about, and it's not really a RPG......can't really RP your PC. Should really start looking into some other games.

BAH! I really need to stop looking at the Story & Campaign Forum. It looks like some poor soul posted another "Maybe Thane could live" thread (admittedly, it's been a while, but still....). You know, at least when we had the Character Forum to go to, if threads like this were brought up, you felt like there was.....I dunno...."back-up"! But since the CF was thrown into Davy Jones Locker, many supporters have disappeared. So again I say, BAH!

Refuse to let that thread be the last thing I read before bed (it will just disrupt my sleep), so I will wait until morning. Really wish these threads would be started either much earlier in the day, or after I have downed a bottle of wine. So much easier to tolerate when "soused". XD

****. I had to quit for a while. I can't stand Wreav, so I had to gib Wrex back in there and well...saw Thane's name and gibbed him in too. But now I gotta go gibb him back out because I just can't go through that again. Dear *insert deity here* I cannot, and will never, understand how bioware could be so heartless. Are their lives so miserable that we have to suffer to make them feel good about themselves?

Okay lets see ohhh yeah the latest dlc or whatever Citadel DLC I haven't been paying any attention nor do I care much it ties into what Coldi was saying about the ME3 Character Forums being locked. Which for me was the last straw with this whole mess and I gave up any hope of any chance BW was going to try and fix ME3. It was more or less a finale death blow for them hence why I have been gone for so long until I was pulled back in.

Urgggggggh Mnomaha since you are doing a default ME3 playtrough can you confirm the rumor I've heard about non ME2 import character status?

Rumor being the status of the lovely Justicar, I read somewhere that non ME2 imports into ME3 Samara's status is dead in ME2, but not just dead she died killing Morinth on Illium and attempting to flee the local law enforcement. Can you confirm this at all?

BTW I wish that BW would have made Liara dead if you didn't import ME2 and the LotSB DLC or at the very least just import ME2 then she's dead in the default too.

I'm off to go watch some Sops.

Oh before I head to work on the subject of FemShep forced into being lesbian, I think it may have something to do with the FemShep voice actress, she seems to like FemShep as a lesbian and her and Liara's voice actress seem really close and flirty like to the point it makes me wonder if there is something going on between the two.

Just my thoughts on that, and how FemShep's voice actress seems to prefer FemShep as a lez and maybe her and Liara's va have a thing.

This would be logical. If you didn't play LoTSB, then Liara tried to get Shadow Broker on her own and got killed in the process. That would be realistic, no sunshine and bunnies. Isn't that what some of Liara fans keep telling us? That we expect everyone to live happily ever after, no casualties, pure space magic- fantasy?

I wonder how do they call Liara - 100 years old- virgin, master archeologist, huge boobs, pretty face, super- biotic, Shepard- savior, Shadow Broker, the one who found the Crucible, savior of the galaxy, able to have Shepard's children, start a family with him/her and on top of that, to stay "young" and beautiful, while Shepard gets old. No fantasies here. Pure realism.

And then such person says that it's a war, there should be casualties so it could feel more real. They should volunteer with Liara to make that sacrifice.

I know I felt bad for them so I posted something in support , not much but I got some points in there at least. Is it going to get drowned out by the "deal with it" types? Absolutely. But it doesn't hurt to show the OP they aren't alone

I'm having that same impression with all female writers in Bioware, but now that you mentioned that.

That's just awful, and they wonder why there is so much hate for Liara these days. Saying stupid things like this and the writers clear favoitisim.
That's is one of the reason I love to take Javik with me. I really did enjoy him letting Liara know that the Asari aren't as special as she though they were, and I'm never on her side during their argument.

If anything turned me against Liara, it was that. It was bad enough in the game but when you get that "Deal with it" when trying to support other neglected LIs it was just awful.

I had some issues with a low amount of Garrus fans who were in the "Thane was going to die camp" (seriously people, we were in the same boat about Garrus a game ago), but I didn't see Garrus, Tali, or even the VS fans do the "deal with it" crap to Jack or Miri.

It's easy to be high on the hog when the character you like is the writer's waifu.

About lesbianism, I feel a lot it is fantasy for teenaged boys, and convenience that they don't have to make another separate character . What I don't get is why they they female players would feel comfortable with get hit on by the fems all the time. Not in the homophobic way, but I got tired of asari hitting on me and wanted other characters (male or female) to flirt with. Not every one likes or wants blue babes. I wanted to deal with other aliens and humans alike.

Why wasn't there any males to flirt with? They could even be bi so it'd be less work. But that'd make broShep players uncomforatble. SMH.

Why did they keep Jacob alive in a non import if no one like him as claimed? The story flows better with the scientist IMO with him dead.

Just had to make the one black squadmate a cheater. Again I ask, why was this necessary and is it a lack of racial diversity that someone didn't go "Hey, this could be playing into a stereotype?"

Bah. If it was to make a point about fans not liking him then they failed because even non fans noticed how OOC the cheating was. If they wanted to prove a point with fans, they should have gave him a Liara caliber romance. People would be scrambling to go back to ME2 and the Jacob fans would be vindicated.

Yeah I'm surprised when I hear it from a few Garrus fans because weren't we begging bioware 2 years ago to give Garrus a meaningful romance in ME3? Weren't we worried that the majority of people calling it a "fling"  would impact our future romance and ruin it? We weren't 100% confident about the shep/garrus romance back then and we had to argue he was just as legitimate as all the other romances in the game constantly. I was there so I remember.

So now when I see a garrus fan say "Thane was dying anyway" like the rest of the herd I just shake my head because we were once in Thane's boat not that long ago. I'm so happy garrus got such a great romance but now that I got what I wanted most I want to focus my attention on the romances that didn't get that treatment. Thane is the one I chose to support most out of the neglected LIs because people are the least sympathetic about what happened to him and he needs all the support he can get.

I hate splitting hairs, but at least Miri and Jack are in the game, recognized as LIs, and aren't taken away unless you the player fail to do something. And it's easier for them to get some more content.

Jacob and Thane? It's like they had to make Jacob the cheating baby mama drama maker and Thane was just used as trollfodder. They were femShep's LIs, yet they didn't get the same consideration like everyone else.

Even though it would have sucked, giving Thane and Jacob a Jack like scenario would at least given hope to future content. But no, they had to make sure (at this moment) that Thane and Jacob could be considered LIs. I still don't get the logic on this.

There is no logic to it.
They just thought they could get away with it because Jacob is unpopular and Thane was sick.
They have never once offered and excuse for what they did to Jacob and the ones they give for Thane are just stupid.

WHAT. WHAT.WHAT.

So this makes him a cheater? Really? I thought him spliting from Miranda was mutual, and him getting fed up with red tape and going to another organization doesn't make him a flipflopper.

I just can't with that explaination. Nothing in ME2 indicated his was cheater, or was quick to leave when things got hot. If that was the case, the BW failed to show it.

They should have had Shep walk in on vids to other girls, and getting a warning from Miranda if this was the case.
