I would love it if the latest rumors (DLC suppositions) will prove true and this thread will turn from keeping Thane alive in ME3 to "just" Thane as a squad mate in ME3!

The scene takes place while crossing a bridge. There's a cutscene where Zaeed tells Shepard about him being the founder of the Blue Suns. Take every dialog option, it will happen.

You know, I've been reading the Codex and the wiki. Anyone know what the bit about his more reptilian features being concealed is about?

It is pretty much open to speculation. Maybe even the devs didn't think too far into that. Who knows?

Thane is my favorite character from me2. I knew I'd love him the moment I saw him. He is awesome, not only in looks but personality too. Please bring him back as a playable squad member in me3!! Please don't break my Shepard's heart and kill him.

Tamyn: yes, I think you're right and that is one of his reptilian characteristics. But is Thane cold blooded when it comes to killing only? I do hope he has some warm blood as part of his humanoid features.

Lucy_Glitter: I think I saw an image on deviantart where someone was thinking where else could that type of skin be placed...

I've been a Thane fan since I met him in ME2 but never got around to posting in here.

I love Thane's character, backstory, conversations, and the trailer with him taking down the roomful of guards+Collector fight just makes me geek out every time. My only wish is that instead of the creepy flashbacks. I wish they'd show us the *actual* flashback instead of zooms from different angles. Those kind of freak me out.

Sure.  I mean I am not altogether fond of him having been an assassin, but his trying to make good before he dies is cool.  I'll come on board with keeping him allive for ME3.

I think they're warm-blooded because they give live birth. I assume their body temperature is cooler than humans' though.

I support Thane for ME3! It would be awesome if there was an optional cure. I don't want to lose him as a LI for my female shep...he is one of the most interesting characters in the ME world

So, I have a question for you Thane experts: Is he a Sentinel or a Vanguard?



We have two Vanguards in the squad already: Jack and Jacob. Miranda is the only Sentinel I can figure out. Which makes me think he's a Sentinel, too, but I'd like to be sure.

Is Jack a Sentinel?  I thought she was an Adept, with the biotics.   Thane couldn't be a Vanguard, he can't use shotguns, only sniper and SMG.  Sentinel is closest, but I think he's in a class all by himself

Oh, and on topic....Mordin came up with a cure for a Collector plague in 2 weeks, and a defense against Collector swarms in about the same amount of time.  C'mon Mordin, you can totally cure this!
