Nah, probably just more rules they won't enforce unless it serves some self-serving purpose.

Mass Effect Happy Endings Mod...or something like that. It looks good, is downloaded and waiting to go. Just wondering if I should go vanilla first. I haven't played with the EC at all.

My advice if you wanna be able to handle another playthrough I'd use the mod, or else you may never get around to doing another one.

Yeah, I suppose. I just don't want buttware to think I've forgiven/forgotten/will give them another fecking dollar if I manage to do another playthrough after this. There really is NOT a lot of replayability with this crap.

No there is not much replayability and to think I (and I'm sure many others too) thought ME3 would have so much replay value I'd be busy replaying the whole series for at least a year and still seeing new things.

Oh no... I knew I'll find there something disturbing: video at 4:30

Thane's death as a great moment in the game AND how all the romances were executed so well. Gameinformer is on my black list from now.

Edit: Everytime I see comments stating that Thane's death is a cool part of the game I get a feeling we don't stand a chance to get an option to save Thane somehow. I'm sure some of those people don't even know that Thane could be romancable or that he really didn't want to die.

I think the rabid “thane has to die crowd” would have accepted anything as long as it killed thane. Seriously, what happened in ME3 proves this. He jumps on a sword, a sword kills him, NOT the illness he spoke about in ME2 and ME3.  Soooooo where is all this “fitting” nonsense coming from? Fitting would be a death consistent with his keprals right? Keprals that didn’t turn into an entirely new magical disease.  Wouldn’t a fitting death be one that is built up to? Consistent? Had something to do with the thing that he was dying of?  I swear an acme anvil could have fallen on him and you would have heard the fans declare how “it was meant to be!”. Bioware and a lot of fans just wanted him dead, not really caring HOW . Just that he did.

This. Plus I don't really get this "meant to be" stuff. It's an RPG game where our choices are supposed to matter -- nothing should be meant to be. When I hear people say how cool Thane's death was, I feel like they forget they're talking about an RPG game. It's like during the KL fight the game suddenly turns into an action film where nothing should be changed. A paragon interrupt to save Thane from KL? "NO NO NO, that would ruin this cinematic masterpiece! It would cheapen Thane's character!" Well I say it cheapens my Shepard when she just watches her terminally ill boyfriend (who has trouble even running) getting himself into a fight... <_< Not sure if I've said this before, but think it's the same as if Shepard just stood there when Samara was going to kill herself. Wouldn't people be pissed off about not having an interrupt there?

Yeah, complete and utter BS. No surprise it's written by 4 guys.  My guess:  none of them romanced anyone but Liara or Tali -- and certainly not Thane.

I don't even have the guts to look at that video....I think my skin is too thin right now. But if someone finds a feedback link, pass it on. I will be more than happy to trot out one of my many rants on said site. :P

@gears - go get some sleep, buddy! ;)

I honestly don't care what this magazine that I use to like says. None of those people are invested in this game or these characters like we are.

There is no way they could have done any of these romances if they think they were all executed well. The only ones that were done well were Garrus and Liara. Mordins death was what I would call a great moment even though I hated that he died. Thane's death was just plain stupid in every way.

Doesn't sound like the stupid chick even romanced him, if the Kaidan comments were anything to go by.

This was very much a Kaidan and Liara group. Don't sweat the idiots people or you will drown.

Most of these people only play this game because it was their job to do so. They aren't even remotely invested in it. That's why I can't really take what they say seriously. This isn't award winning Journalism.

One Kaidan girl and the Liara guys. Of course they would be happy. Their LI's got a good conclusion. Do thes people ever stop to think just once about how the fans of other LI's might feel.

I did notice that a lot of the reviewers seem to like this game while the fans seem to bee very disappointed with it. I know some fans like the game, but I know a lot are disappointed by it.

Yeah, I know. Still makes me mad enough to subscribe to a website and leave feedback. Luckily the first one didn't go through (it wasn't pleasant) but the second one did. LOL

Believe me I would leave a message, but it wouldn't be nice at all. It would probaby get me into trouble.
I'm glad you were able to.

Everytime I read or see things like that it just makes me angry. Then I have to calm down before I say something I shouldn't.

I don't think I'll watch it either. I'm so over the constant "he needed to die" arguments and "he said he was dying" BS. And I heard that this last DLC (the tear jerker one) that is coming is the last for ME3. Hopefully it's something great. Doesn't matter too much to me though, I haven't played any of them so far. Can't bring myself to play such a broken, rushed story. And what happens to Thane is still unacceptable. And I don't think that's ever going to change.

Is this next dlc really suppose to be the last one for ME3?

Does anyone think they will play ME4?

ME4? I'm not sure about playing it, but if I do, I am absolutely certain I won't be paying for it.

I'd be worried about ending up in the same situation we are in now too.
