YES!!! BroShep + Steveeeeeeeee would be excellent! You rock, chica......wait! You called me old...<bastart> Course, you also called yourself old by admitting how close we are in age.
Again, I want it noted that I am younger than both of you.
/nod
Dammit, when you are young you want everyone to think you are older and when you get older you want everyone to think you are younger. Trying to figure out when that changed...LOL.
Ah, yes, I think it was somewhere around....30.

Perfect age for me was 38-39. I was in the best shape of my adult life (did long distance cycling), got out and enjoyed the outdoors as often as I could, made some of the best meals I ever had, and became familiar with DAO. (plenty of other positive things to that time and age, but no one needs the "grocery list" LOL) Had some losses during that year, but felt better equipped to handle them. Simply put; felt the most strong in "body and mind" at that age..........So who's got a de-ager!
** To make thread relevant: Thane is glorious! Long Live Thane!

Physically I'd go back to when I was 27ish (or whenever it was that I was going to the gym 5 days a week)... still keeping fit at 40 but that was my prime... I'd need to be able to keep all my mental baggage though, what would i do without that weight...
oh yeah Go Thane!
ps. posted some 'quest pics' of Thane Plushie in the group...
...here's a taster, with Acropolis in background.

It's ironic that you're saying you'll be happier in the States because I know a few people who really want to live in NZ! I guess they're just seeing the beauty and not the cost of living? I wouldn't want to pay 90 and up for video games, that's for sure.mnomaha wrote...
ROFL I don't want to go back in time. I just want to enjoy life now. And I think I probably will once I'm back in the States. I find everything so cost prohibitive here. That and I don't have any friends left in Rotorua.

That's a good philosphy, enjoy life now at whatever age and place you're at. Although I'm the kind of person who will say "easier said than done" and continue being pessmistic
And thanks for sharing the Thane plushie pic, WildAnnie! So cool to see where the traveling Thane plushie is going.

@mnomaha very true re: Thane, it really stings to be the minority demographic.
Where's Thane Plushie at in his journey to NZ? any progress?
Edit: I'd think I'd love to live in the States, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have us
@Disc0nnect Glad you like the pic

The trip went pretty well. It took almost 19 in a half hours but that's mostly because getting through Iowa was horrible, and we stopped at most of the rest areas for the puppy. Just booked in at a hotel in Chicago and I'm loving the city already. I would've thought they'd have had a lot of snow by now up here, but they didn't. Gonna go to the beach for a game of VB, and maybe a nice restaurant. SO much variety over here!
Also I'm on a trip to my family. The only people on this trip are me, my best friend, and mah puppy. We still have another couple hours of driving but spending the day here for fun. Should be home by Christmas Eve morning
It's great that you're not sick, would've suuuucked to be sick on a romantic vacation. Also you've been married for 7 years? Any kids, if you don't mind me asking, just curious
@giftfish
Never realized how many people romanced Thane. I never would've thought he'd be up there with Garrus. Also never knew Kaiden was that popular. I mean, this is just my opinion, but I find Kaiden to be pretty...dull. He's a good guy, but he's pretty bleh compared to the other squadies.
48% of female gamers got a disappointing LI conclusion. Well technically everyone did with the endings, but still you'd think a popular LI would get proper treatment.
i apologize in advance for any weird looking words/grammar because I used my phone and autocorrect isn't really your best fried on here =/

You didn't see the turkey picture on my facebook, did you? A 12 pound turkey is $73.99 over here. And that's just a seasonal grump from me.

@Jessica It sounds like fun up there! ^^
I've been in Illinois but never in Chicago,I had a friend who went there one time and he said it was windy but nice lol. My hubby and I have been together 7 years but married 5 and sadly we don't have any children cause of my health problems, but I have 3 stepdaughters who are grown up and they are sweet and smart and we are both proud of them. The closest thing that I have to a child is a 3yr old persian cat and she is spoiled..just a bit lol. Also Last time we went to DW we took 2 of his daughters and one of their boyfriends,so this time its just gonna be us....yay. ^^
Hey I want to ask you all here is getting Sebastian DLC and the Mark of the Assassin worth getting? I'd like to know what you all think.

I was hoping for snow too. Not heavy snow but a nice smooth glaze over the ground. But that's only last a couple minutes in this city with all the vehicles and people walking around. Should've told me you lived here sooner, could've had a party and wrecked this hotel room up enough so the maid would want to quit her job o.O
Didn't go to the beach though since I think it might be closed. On their website it said swim season was over so I don't know if that means just waters are off limits or the entire area. Guess it wouldn't have hurt to drive up there. I also learned its named Ohio Street Beach and not Navy Pier Beach. I didn't know that.
We went to Maggianos instead and OMG their water is amazing! Best water I've ever had, hands down, should've asked for multiple refills and put it in those take-home doggy bags
I've got to come here sometime during the Summer and see the beach or ride a boat in the lake. Where my family lives they have a few nice reaches around them but probably not as good as Chicago's. Our beaches are wired, you can go to the ones at Lake Superior or to Lake Michigans beaches but deal with the extra hour on your clock from the time zone =/
Dang, I made a little rant it seems and went on a lot more than I intended.
Anywho, hope everyone here has a great Christmas Eve tomorrow
@Roxy
Aww, that really sucks. I really hope someday you'll have kids, and it sounds like you're making the most out of everything which I envy you for that. I don't think envy is the right word, but I can't think of anything better o.O
Ahh yes, it's only going to be you two at Disney World. I know what you mean ^.^
Now you can ride all the grown up rides

Edit: I'd think I'd love to live in the States, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have us. NZ? is a bit too far away for me and is missing what appeals to me most about the States, its size. I really regret not doing languages at school, it would make a move to continental europe a viable option.

OF course they would welcome you in the states!!
And yep, Thane arrived in NZ this morning!

@Roxy - are you on a console or on the PC. Believe it or not, if you are NOT on the PC, then yes! Both DLC's are worth it for DA2 (though Legacy was my favorite). However, both the Prince and MotA are buggy on the PC. And I swear it isn't just me. In fact, Sebastian is completely buggared on my PC version (as it is with others), but it does still work fine on my xBox version. MotA is not "terrible" on the PC (though it is still glitchy), but it works fine (again) on the xBox version. And it should be noted, I only downloaded the PC versions a few months back. Boy, was it a PITA! (for the PC). Legacy has worked just fine on both the PC and xBox.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, YA HEATHENS!!

I dare say being 23 years old is also a prime age for a drellicker!
(Then again, everyone I know keep telling me I'm "mature" beyond my years. Idk if that's accurate though)
Hm...if there was any time I'd go back to it would be when I was 18-19, when I attended an art school* in Denmark. Greatest school ever. And I learned a third language as a bonus! And made friends, and did all kinds of crazy sh!t/art.
That said, I'm pretty good where I'm currently at, I just miss that place. *Reminiscing Sigh*
Thane plushie in Greece? By the looks of things he enjoyed Athens! Hope he enjoys NZ as well!
Well, I'm off (in a hurry) to the rest of the family for Christmas Eve Celebrations. (Christmas Eve is the big day in Sweden) so, Happy Holidays fellow drellickers!

What's wrong with Sebastian...well, besides the whole chaste marriage thing?
What bugs? MotA isn't a great DLC (IMO) but that could be because I'm not a big fan of the "star". Actually, I'm being generous, I really don't like her.

I don't long for any years of my life -- I'm content where I am. Lately, I've adopted a new attitude for life and I feel like, despite some things that would've made me unhappy a few years ago, I can be happy if I want to. And I do want to, and I am. I think these are the years I will some day want to go back to, because I've gotten over my pessimistic / indifferent view of life. I'm probably a disgrace for all Finns.
Christmas Eve is "the big day" in Finland, too. We'll decorate the christmas tree soon, then we'll visit granny and grandpa (there will probably be rice porridge... yumm ^^), then we'll have a sauna and a christmas dinner and then it's time for presents!
And slightly on topic, I baked a Thane ginger biscuit!
Anyways, I gotta go decorate that tree! Merry Christmas for all!! =)

I would guess that the reality of it is, that "most" females (and males too.....just a really small % that bothered), who romanced Thane ARE in their 20's. BUT, Thane probably has the most females over the age of 35, who chose him as a LI. There just isn't as large of a number of over 35 yr olds playing these games, as there are 18-34 year olds.
Happy Holidays, Drellickers!
Back when ME2 came out it looked like most were in thier 30's to me. I didn't see very many in their 20's. From what I read then some of the younger players thought he was to old and they didn't like the fact that he had a child that was close to their age. They also didn't like the fact that he was married before. Their loss I guess.
