The devs seem to be locking things that they don't want to hear about in general. It's not just characters anymore. Now its the IT crowd. Really? They've always been vocal and I certainly don't have a problem with that. Hell, I wish it was IT and this whole nightmare never really happened.

Perhaps buttware should consider hiring some of these people they are trying to silence. At least we know there would some talent there.

I've been a bit busy the past few days playing Borderlands and Borderlands 2 which I think they are very good RPG/FPS games,been playing Mordicai w/his trusty bird Bloodwing and in the second one I have been playing either Maya who has this awesome power that reminds me of ME and Zero he is a ninja assassin alien,which he reminds me of Thane lol.....but they are good games ya'll should check em out! ^^

@giftfish...I did the polls, but you have the comments locked. I think there should be an option to mention the fact that many people have taken to tumblr, etc., instead of suffering buttware's...actually it's not them...I get the impression it's Priestly's ego doing this...censorship.

Hmm...Perhaps add a sixth question re: using other social networks instead of BSN, something like: "Have you as a result of the lockdown of Character/Romance Forums/IT thread, made more use of other social networks like twitter, tumblr fb, da, etc?" could be informative/useful?

And, I'm off to continue work on an overdue WIP. Remember that Thane chibi I posted some time ago? Yep that's what I'm working on.

Now you're making me wish I'd grabbed Borderlands during the Steam Sale.

Question, though--is there a third-person option?  Something about FPS games always makes me kinda motion sick and nauseous after about a half hour.  As a result, I generally don't play them.

Yeah, I locked them on purpose -- I was concerned that they would take them down otherwise.  People seem to be behaving themseleves in the thread -- hopefully it will get some more attention through the evening.  Not too many posters so far.

It's single player but you can play co-op

Um and well tbh this game is pretty challenging when doing it single but you can invite friends to play the game if they have it and they can play whatever character they want that's on there,my lil brother and I have been playing it together just a little bit and I can tell this game was pretty much made for co-op cause it's a bit easier when you have someone playing with you but they didn't make to hard for single players thankfully...

Mutha-trucka!! I decided to replay a bit of my Chase Shepard in ME2 (still haven't technically finished her yet), starting with Thane's LM. Which by the way, went down beautifully. (I chose a very interesting mix of mostly Renegade, some neutral and two Paragons....it was perfect for Chase!....RP wise.) So after doing Thane's LM, I was all set up to do Garrus' LM. Get into the Factory District, finally start shooting some things (which was kinda fun, since I haven't shot anything in a while...) and WHAMM! Stuck!! On a stupid concrete drain pipe (or at least, that is what the damn thing looks like) BAH! I can't do anything to get off of it. And since I am not saving (because of the fact that I am replaying a bit of this particular Shepard), I gotta just quit out of the game. Mutha-Trucka!!!

Hey Rox!  I think what Sable is asking isn't whether you play by yourself or with others, but instead, what "perspective" is it.  Does the in-game camera sit behind your PC (like in Mass Effect when playing with Shepard...shooting things, for example), or does the camera act as though you are "looking through" the eyes of your PC.  First Person Shooter vs. Third Person Shooter. 

BTW, I am like Sable; can't play in FPS for more than 10 or 15 minutes.

And oh that's what sable was talking bout....oops well you will see your character holding a gun shooting that's about all I can describe right now. I could post a pic or something lol....

Hello Thane fans. I'm working on my first Thane-as-LI playthrough (Despite knowing what's coming) so I felt it was time to pop in real quick and say I hope that Bioware finds someway to at least give you something to make up for the crappy way Thane was treated in ME3.

I'm a big Ashley fan and the whole ME2/first half of ME3 stuff really bothered me off so I already would sympathize, but with Thane it feels like they forgot he was even there and decided to get rid of him, and that sucks. 

Anyway, if I have any interesting to add during my playthrough (unlikely!) I'll pop in again. Either way, cheers!

@Coldi...that happened to me a couple times. One of them was with the crazy mechs and the other was on Legion's LM. My squaddies could join me, but I couldn't get down. Sucked big time, but I was saving. You *could* just restart the mission I suppose.

@Belisarius25...welcome. I used an old KaidanShep to play ME3 and it seems like forever between Mars and the coup. So stupid. And the lack of dialogue made me want to throw my keyboard at the devs. Who EVER thought auto-dialogue was a good idea?

Well this is what it looks like in Borderlands,the game is a bit comic book style that's why it looks cartoony lol...anyways thanks coldi for telling me what she meant! ^^

@Sable and Roxy - there's not a third-person option for Borderlands available with the game but you can get it in a round about way on the PC...

Does anyone know how unloyal Thane in ME3 behaves? Does he say something different? I never failed his loyalty mission (it would break my heart), so I don't know what changes. If it does change anything...

Sorry Vlk. I never failed either. I think he just doesn't care anymore and there's not really any more dialogue.
