I'm guessing it is this little gem you are referring to:

Thane is definitely strong enough to pull that off without needing a wall. 

And I believe my quota of devil smiles is used up for this post so I'll stop now.

Great vid, banan. There aren't enough great Thane vids out there, glad to see we've earned another Thane lover too! You took dialogue from other ME3 romances, I'm assuming? I haven't checked out any of the other ME3 romances (color me bitter) so I was surprised to hear some of that dialogue. I thought it fit well with the video, it made ME3 almost look emotional and Thane's romance well done-something that is nigh impossible.

And everybody knows the mods don't come into the Thane thread, they've got better stuff to do right? Like animate camel toes for EDI and ya know, important stuff like that.

Aw, thank you Actually the very ironic part is that some of the lines is actually Shepard mourning Thane....if he died as an LI in the end of ME2 then she will mention Thane instead of ash/kaidan after her second dream if I remember correctly. Talk about making "the wrong chocie" I wonder why they didn't keep it in there But some lines are from other romances yes and even with her talk with anderson in the end. 

I'm glad you think that, cause that was what I was trying to invoke in the almost 3 mins spin I had , one thing I refused to add from ME3 was that horrid make out scene -.- well...if it had been shepards quarters it would have been a different story :innocent:

I'm not in a position at the moment to toss up a Thane pic, but if someone would care to indulge me, I would be very grateful.   Also, I think I need to start gathering a list of really good Thanecentric FanFics.  I know that there are probably some good ones I have missed.  Hmmm.....a task for later this evening, I think.

I can't help still hoping for Thane-related DLC even If I know with 99% certainty that it won't happen. Maybe there's a chance for something with him along with other ME2 squadmates, but since the SP team finished their job on ME3... hmm, perhaps they were secretly working on 2 SP DLC's but that's unlikely. Anyway, I'm still waiting for some good news and what I know for sure is that I will never accept Thane's death. Even if it was done beter, Shep and crew remembering him, etc. , it'd  still be ...unrealistic. Loyal or not, romanced, friended or not, his story ends the same. It's impossible. Everything, especially falling in love, may change someone's life and his views on taking the damn lung transplant at least. Upon meeting with Shepard, Thane told something like "You've built a career on performing the impossible". And it is true, Shepard would achieve nothing if she had just accepted that some things are beyond her. Sovereign was arrogant and told her she would fail, yet she's beaten him. War Hero, Ruthless or Sole Survivor - Shepard has a strong will and does not just let the things happen. She changes the world around her, attempts to, at least. I was a bit surprised that Thane's illness wasn't resolved in ME2 - I thought this would be a part of his loyalty mission - frankly, I was ... dissapointed when Thane told he has a son, I hoped for a cure back then. But knowing there's ME3 coming I wasn't that worried. When I had found this forum, I learned that some people are concerned that Thane might die in next game. I didnt believe it could be true.
So back to... what was I saying? Ah, yes "Thane has to die", I have dismissed that claim. 

I try to avoid everything that is about Thane and his death, rarely do I read any fanfics with that theme or watch any vids on yt... it only makes me even more bitter.

I have not much time, there's a ton of work that I need to do, but somehow I got back to playing the game. I created a new femshep with a plan to make her"forever alone". Colonist, hates batarians, ruthless, fighting for humanity, aliens are not to be trusted, but so are other humans. Unless someone proves to be strong and useful, he is useless to her. And she might even come to like someone from other species even though she's always cold and unpleasant for them at the beginning. She believes that some of the Cerberus goals are noble, but she hates their methods, because they mostly hurt people instead of helping them. Even if she likes someone, it's unlikely she would admit that. Building walls around her since Mindoir, so she wouldn't get hurt if she looses someone again.
And then comes ME2 and Thane is not only awesome in battle but also tells her not to make that mistake and become an island and please, can someone tell me, how not to love that guy? How can I force my Shep to stay away from him, when he can read her like a book, he's so perfect for my Sheps?

I guess I will not be strong enough to resist...

And also, ME2 is the best game in entire Universe.
