Does Garrus really change if you let him take out Saleon(sp?) and Sidonis? I generally don't let him because I'm the main psycho of the game. I know I get the renegade points. But I'm legitimately confused as to how it affects Garrus.

He briefly mentions the Saleon decision in ME2 if you confront him about Sidonis during the combat portion of his loyalty mission.  As for Sidonis, he mentions it in the immediate conversation afterwards, but it doesn't seem to affect his personality or relationship with Shep for the rest of the game.  It doesn't even impact the romance.

Regardless of whether you Paragon or Renegade him, he seems to have balanced out pretty well on his own by ME3.

Second: the Mass Effect Twitter just mentioned that there's a 20% off sale on Mass Effect wall stickers from Walls360. I just picked up the Paragon and Renegade logos to go behind our couch because they are pretty swanky, but there are a couple of Thane images too. There's the standard Thane punchy promo shot, and he also appears in the Mass Effect 2 team image. I actually prefer how he looks in the team image; I always thought it was a bummer that his arm is crossed in front of him in that standard promo image. And he looks so unnecessarily angry...!

You get 20% if you input the code SHEPARD.

Imagine the possibilities of a Thane wall sticker shrine! Hee hee hee... I would do it myself but I'm supposed to be living in a respectable household with my man.

Holy Toledo, Batman!  That may be the most kickass costume I have ever seen!!  I soooooo want someone to do Thane like that now....come on rich guys with whimsical personalities.  Make my lifetime!

I'm crying because even if we're lucky enough to get additional Thane content, my original Thane-romancing Elana Shepard will never see it because he's already dead in her game. Waaa! Any Thane scenes would have to be played before Tuchanka.

I hope to god they throw us a bone. I really think they will. My stomach will be in knots until March 5.

I'm in some trouble myself, haha. I've long lost my Thane save; and I JUST started ME2 with a neutral femshep. But I'm not in the mood to play through ME2 like that again without knowing that the DLC will fix something.

I hope for everyone's sake they include all the LIs in the DLC. If Jacob and Thane are left as is while Miri and Jack get expanded content then that would be a real middle finger to femShep players.

I want to be happy about this. But I've been burned with this game, even though Garrus was my LI. I'm such a downer.

If it has a lot of Garrus content while Jacob/Thane little to none, then I'll be hurt for the people I've befriended on this forum. Yeah, I'd probably delve into the DLC, but the experience would be bittersweet for me instead being awesome like it was ME2.

Hopefully the DLC will add replayability by expanding the LI roles. The endings still suck, but if all LIs have good content, then I can do multiple playthroughs to finally get the experience I wanted.

Who is going to buy it? I have the other DLC because I did that comparison playthrough. I'm not sure if I want to do this one though. What if they completely f**ked us over again?

I won't be happy if it's just more time with Thane before he dies. I didn't spend here all the time just so my Shepard could hug Thane one final time, before he commits suicide.

Ow. Ok I'm feeling a mixture of emotions right now , on the one hand this will likely add more Thane scenes which would be too fantastic for words and I can finally play my awesome bald renegade who's been waiting in a save file for a year now.

On the other...I fear they STILL won't alter how shep and Thane behave during the fight and death which is at this point, is the least I thought they could do. They can add all the mush they want but if shep and thane still act like they do at the coup it's still going to feel jarring and horrid. I have accepted already that they are going to have thane die no matter what , I so badly want to be wrong though. But IF they alter how they behave and maybe add more mourning moments or SOMETHING, this might finally be playable again at least for me (still would prefer him alive).

March 5.

The Garrus fan in me wants to jump all over it but I don't know. I want to see confirmation of all who's in it before I buy. Questions I have:

Will it be all of the LIs? Or will they only include Miri and Jack and leave Thane and Jacob out? Will they add Samara (for you gears!)?

Content wise, will all LIs get equal treatment? Will Cortez and Traynor (especially her) get the same amount of content as compared to Liara and Garrus? Or will Liara get a ton of content, including little blue children (ugh) while everyone else gets a small scene or two?

Character specific: Will Tali get her ingame face? Will she and Garrus get a non fade to black love scene? Will Thane be cured or have his life extended? Will Jacob not cheat?

The main questions I want answered are regarding Thane and Jacob, because BW treated them so horribly. Will they get rewritten? How can they salvage Jacob? If he's still going on about his baby mama drama I'm flipping tables. If he's corrected, then this might be worth a purchase.

The only chance I will buy Citadel DLC is Thane presence in this. Im not interesting in Shepard's apartament, or more time with rest of the crew ( knowing end of Trilogy). Also I don't care about DLC story  ...it will not have any imapct at the end of the game,plus to be honest I moved on from ME serie to other games...The only thing I still want for ME3 is proper ending for my romance with Thane...that's all..

I know I don't know wether to roll over on the ground with happiness or just wait cause it could end up being a let down for us Thane fans.


Although I feel it's good news but *sighs* I'm having a hard time on wether it's good news for us or not believe me I do not want to sound pessismistic but I have been praying for this for almost a year lol and I am so happy cause they have added ME2 characters in this DLC but you wonder is this gonna add a choice for us to save Thane or is it just a final goodbye before he makes that stupid move?.....we shall see.

Which doesn't make sense because many people *outside* the Thane fanbase think the whole Idiot Leng fight was just fecking stupid. Leng was not necessary to the story. At all. Just ANOTHER wasted resource and way to pimp a very overrated (note: boring IMO) book.

I will be pissed beyond belief if they give Jack and Miranda more content and give us none. They can't be that stupid. At least I hope not, but I guess we will have to see.

I'm not sure what to think about this DLC. I will play it if it has new Thane content, but unless we are able to save him... I don't think I'll be satisfied.  Anyway, I guess I will finish my first ME1 playthrough, leave Kaidan on Virmire (I'm romancing him and I don't want to experience the ME3 love triangle again), romance Thane in ME2 and then import the save to ME3 when the DLC is released. The trouble better be worth it. >.<

Though I wouldn't be surprised if the DLC added nothing to Thane and Jacob's romances. BW has already shown us how little they care about their female players. And fixing / completely rewriting two romances... would they bother going through that kind of trouble? At least with Jacob, his romance would be hard to salvage without patching the existing "romance" content in some way.
