All I know is that if it's complicated it's because they made it that way. First by killing him. Then they turn around and make the dlc right after the coup.

Ugh. I almost wish this DLC had been not character related at all. When it was announced I could have let go of this and moved on. Heck, I was hoping I could make my decision when the DLC was announced.

Now it's about 2 weeks more of "waiting to move on".

You are actually the first person I've ever seen state that they enjoyed it, lol.

I felt it was highly uncharacteristic of them as individuals and really reduced their relationship to categorically casual -- a couple of horny teenagers.  Especially with how predatory Shepard comes off when she says she "has a few minutes".  Thane is dying and she hasn't seen him in 6 months -- the entire conversational lead up and the make out itself was ridiculously out of character, imo.  The entire time I was wondering what the heck was wrong with both of them; neither was acting like themselves.

Maybe it was out of character — obviously depending on your particular Shepard — but I'll suspend all kinds of disbelief for that yummy "mmm" sound he made. <3

As for my Shepard, she showed all kinds of restraint by actually talking with him first, ha ha ha!

Anyway, I'm off in fairy dreamland imagining DLC that involves saving Thane... I'm super nervous because my first Shepard romanced Garrus because I botched Thane's loyalty mission... what if his survival is dependent on his loyalty? I'm so stressed out about playing that gamesave first.

But my Thane-romancing Shepard had a very underwhelming rebound with Kaidan. How would that affect a Thane survival narrative tree?

I have no idea how writers would handle a conversation where you go, "Sorry Kaidan, I was just using you as the only other heterosexual romance option, see ya!" Would they even let me?

What if you can only keep Thane if you romanced him and stayed celibate afterwards? What cruelty!

Anyway, I should shut up. Again. How do I not speculate?? I've combed through so many plot options while sketching out my fanfic, I know there are just so many possibilities.

Limbo feels? I don't know how else to describe it! I was jumping around an hour ago!  Now I feel like I got  the wind 

knocked out of me.  12 days...may I ask someone to PM without spoilers if Thane gets content or not? I don't have a Thane save on standby you see, just my garrus one made it after the coup.

LOL, I'm usually the one who says horribly unpopular things around here.  Nice to have another voice of (sometimes) cheery dissent around 

As for the Citadel DLC, I have not bought any ME3 DLC to date because Leviathan and Javik contained plot elements that should've been in the game as shipped, and Omega blew.  Buying Citadel would mean reinstalling the game, Origin and all.  I'm trying to decide if I want to do that just for more Garrus cuddles.

We'll see.  I'm done getting my hopes up over Mass Effect.

Okay, first. I can speculate with da best, and could imagine EVEN with the fact that this DLC comes after the coup, how they could still involve Thane (as some of you have already pointed out). Because of this, I will have a wait and see attitude. I haven't played the damn game since March. 7 of last year, so waiting another week and a half seems.....doable.

HOWEVER, *chuckle* there is not a chance in Saddam's hell (sorry, SP reference...lol) that I will spend money for:
1) email(s) from Thane after he's dead
2) a couple of lines from other NPC's regarding Thane
3) anything relating to his death (example: extended hospital scene, memorial, yada-yada)
4) or any combination of the above.

Why on Earth would I ever.....>.< This is not a dig on anyone who wishes to purchase the DLC for themselves. People should do what they like, and what makes them happy (unless being a psychotic killer put's a "smile" on your face.....ya getz ma point! Heh!).

The fact is that my two biggest problems with me3 has always been, a complete disconnect with my Shepards (RP wise), and Thane's treatment in the game. I may have complaints about other items, but those are the two big ones. So no. Would never plunk down $15 for well....what I listed above, if they even bothered to add anything regarding Thane.

Oh, and as for the makeout session, have to go with giftfish on this. Shepard acts in a way similar to "Jacobmancer Shep"......*shudder*. And because of the dialogue that happens before and after the "bow-chicka-bow-bow". I went into greater detail with my dialogue analysis, but I think I have bored the pants off enough Drellickers with my essays/analyses/rants and other such dronings....LOL

I absolutely agree. Incidentally, I could not bring myself to play a single ME3. And I can wait.

I'd love thane to continue to be around, even if he's sick, I'd like him not to die at the least, and maybe join the crew if possible even if he can't fight anymore he would be great for tactical advice he's an assassin for criminies sake, he could point out where we could improve, it would be awesome if they even brought him into the MP, not as a character but just his voice where the system would point out where you could improve and it could be spoken by his VA, that would be awesomesauce. Never going to happen but would be so totally epic.
