I sure picked* a weird time to come back didn't I?
*/ Technically, I was
stuck without internet in the Scanian countryside. It's a long story.
So. Citadel DLC.
It seems we're all swinging to and fro' on the "Swing of Hope & Despair". I know I am.
But tbh, I'm with coldi on the whole "It's spoiler territory. Can't talk", it technically means
nothing.
It's neither a confirmation nor a non-confirmation. It's...nothing.
And related to the above:
http://social.biowar...78/246#15966195So Samara & Jacob is in the "It's spoiler territory. Can't talk" area too. Hm.

But it is
weird that they'd say "It's spoiler territory" when they flat-out tell anti-enders that "the DLC will not change the ending" in a bolded fat print-way. Multiple times even.
They're obviously
not worried about losing anti-enders, so why this dodginess with Thane/Jacob/Samara fans?

@giftfish
Yeah, BW's method of gathering data seems off for a number of reasons.
1. Anyone who is not connected to internet 24/7 with their consoles/PCs are not included.
(I belong here, my Xbox is only connected when DL'ing DLC's & patches)
2. There's an ingame "Collect Feedback" option that can be turned off.
(I personally know of a few people who've done this because their Internet connection is slow and/or shared with others. Turning it off makes the internet faster)
3. Some Firewalls for PCs might block the data from ever being sent.
(Either because the user blocked them off deliberately, or the Firewall made the setting itself)
4. Like you said, do they account for multiple PTs? If not, that's a serious number of unaccounted PTs.
(Like my alternate 6 Fem-Sheps if my main Shepard
was counted)
And since I caught a glimpse of you asking about what file actually contains Thane's death, and since I can't keep track of which thread you did so, I'll answer you here if that's ok.
And the answer is: It's not in
any of the Cerberus Coup files, all of those files have the prefix
Bio(*)
.Cat003.pcc. The files containing Thane's death are prefixed with
Bio(*)
_CitHub_Hospital_P3.pcc. (These files also contains the post-Gellix conversation with Jacob if anyone is curious) So, if they're changing anything (in the same way they edited the Ken & Gabby bug), that's the files to look for inside the DLC's .sfar file. Which, depending on
when my brother decides to get the Citadel DLC (he's a Miri-fan so he's getting it), I might be able to find out by checking the DLC's .sfar file.
*/ Instead of (*) there's a letter, each letter is an abbreviation for its content type:
BioA_ = Area : Enviromental models, levels and enviromental models are contained in these.
BioD_ = Design? : I don't know what the "D" stands for, but this is where character models, animations, etc. are kept.
BioG_ = Generic: Things that show up irregardless of location/plot are kept here, like Shepard'smodels and "facemorph" parts.
BioP_ = Plot?: Idk, I *think* this is where the scripts are kept.
BioH_ = Henchman : The data for Squadmates (models, textures) are kept here.
BioSnd_ = Sound : What it says on the tin. Music etc.
There are more prefixes, but that's the gist of it basically.
@Roxy
I'll be joining that table flipping event if a letter/Kolyat Convo/Memorial talk/Nothing aka Thane not surviving ME3 happens.
(And I've rambled enough for now. Ah, even if the timing of my return
is awkward, it feels good to be here with the rest of you again.)
