heh.....I was musing on that very thing, this morning.  I won't buy the DLC without being spoiled as it is, and I suspect many others are the same way....AND bw is pointing out to those wishing for something regarding the ending, that this DLC will contain none of that....*sigh*  So any comments from her on not putting money in bw's pocket from me, till I know for sure the content.  How sad.....only way I will spend money is if I am completely spoiled, when under normal circumstances, I would hardly wish to be spoiled.

Heh, as it happens, I am going to be running like a loon on that Tuesday-tech school and a pair of private lessons will mean I am not going to be home till evening and I won't be bothering with the dlc then, since it's in two parts and I'll be too tired to fuss over it all.

So yeah, will also get online, see what's going on, get my share of spoilers-which I normally don't mind and being spoiled for ME3 spared me some heartache, after all, though not much-and then decide if Bioware is getting my money! A bit sad on its own, because in ME2, I bought every DLC that came out, no questions asked!!

And the only romance worth its salt in ME3 for female Shepards is Garrus, indeed; seen a few of the scenes and heard nothing but the best. Now, I love Garrus to bits, but he is not my main Shep's LI; they killed her LI and she was never even given closure!! It's been a year and that still bothers me as much as it did on that day I saw it for myself!!!

This lack of definite information on Thane and Jacob for the DLC makes me suspicious too...VERY much so!!

The very small comfort is that irregardless of how it swings, I'll always be able to land in a sandbox of headcanon. Plus, the playground keepers (BW) can't take away the sand. Still, it's one hell of a rickety swing I'll admit.

 Okay, so I tweeted Mike Gamble and he didn't seem to know that Chris Priestly confirmed that Jack & Samantha were in the DLC.  Hopefully me throwing Chris under the bus (though he did it himself) will get Mike to throw the ladies a bone?

Okay, now it's just getting stupid ridiculous. Bioware is just randomly picking what they want to talk about, and throwing a "Spoilerzzz!" blanket over us like we're birds in a cage when they don't want to go into Thane. Ugh!

The more I'm pondering this the more I think there is nothing for them to talk about in regards to Thane, and that's why they're being coy...Priestly has no problem nonchalantly tweeting about the lady love interests. My eyes are rolling so hard right now.

Yea, this is why I've swung firmly in the 'negative'-camp when it comes to my hopes for Thane.   Why can't they release a blanket statement that "all love interests will recieve new content in some form" - it's vague but inclusive. 

And I really feel bad, ladies, because my mainShep will get her Garrus content and I'll be happy and squeeing but at the end of the day I'll come back down from my high and remember not everyone will be so lucky.  It really sucks.

Seems like it, yes!! Simple question, too; especially since they have already confirmed other LIs.

Unless  they're trying to surprise and wow us; in which case,it'd be nice and very welcome...But I am optimistic, just not THAT much!!

LOL....it's like I stated before though, when it comes to most Thanemancers (there are always exceptions), we will not buy into this blindly. So spoiling whether or not he is in the DLC really isn't an issue. I will have to see how (and if) he is implemented BEFORE I buy....."fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice....yada-yada" Aw screw that, "fool me once, shame on you!"......I feel better.

I really WANT to buy it since I like Garrus and perhaps we're seeing Vega as romanceable or something similiar...

I mean, I WANT to like Bioware's again. I really do. I just can't. Not like this. Just ignoring some of the ME2 crew is just disgusting.

 I've been on an emotional roller coaster since my optimistic posts yesterday (which are now like eight pages back... wow), I think I'm beginning to see reason and concede that there is probably not going to be any miracle fix in this DLC that will make my heart explode with joy the way I wish there would be. But part of me is still hopeful that there will at least be something Thane related, and I remain comparatively easy to please. I'll take almost any tiny nugget they give us and treasure it. Maybe that makes me a fool, but I'm a fool for love, dammit. I'll take their crumbs.

If you're looking for a distraction from all this, I just uploaded the latest chapter to my femShep/Thane fanfic, "The Phenomenology of Shepard". It's kind of well timed, because this chapter contains the second love scene and is quite unapologetically porny. It's ideal escapism!

I also have a key word to promote this chapter that I think will resonate with one or two of you, and that word is: ridges.

Yes, I said it.

The chapter is titled "Cresc. poco a poco", and contains meditations that build to a climax, shall we say.

Chapter 9 is rated E for explicit sexual content. But don't worry, it has intellectual character parts too!

Right now I'm talking to my hubby about this situation with Thane and he lol...he is being silly and saying stuff like: "Hey Thane happens" or he is singing "Good Thane ,Good Thane,I got a Thane about you,baby we got a good Thane going on!" LOL

He isn't making fun of us he just wants to cheer us up.
