But that's mostly because a friend of mine keeps telling me they can't be that bad, I'll listen to him. For now.
5th march is such a long way from here.

You'd think the devs would have set rules on WHAT to spoil. Hilarious how said rule is so heavily enforced on Thane, Jacob and Samara.
Maybe they forgot about these people again and are talking amongst themselves going "Crap, we forgot again!"

You know another group of fans I want so badly to get something out of this DLC? Ash fans.

They really don't. I laugh at the "er wat, NO IT DIDN'T" responses I get when I mention their "fav" character's illness changed between games. Some fans LOL.

Choice is what should have always been available. Those that only want to play out a happy (or happier) romance arc, go for it. Those that don't, don't. Those that would want to do multiple play throughs with different outcomes, could. And had his involvement been more robust (with variable outcomes), people who didn't romance him, could also choose how their Shepards would deal with a friendship, an indifference, or a renegade relationship with Thane. Weeeeee! What fun. /NOT sarcasm.

If they could find the time to include varieties of character development and outcomes in Jack and Miranda's romances, why not for Thane or Jacob? It's not like it would stretch the word budget or anything; Jacob and Thane could be rewritten using the exact same number of words and still account for the player's ME2 choices. Hell, if you cut out the stupid Kai Leng fight, you'd probably save a lot of money on cinematics.

Really not sure how I missed this, but.....ugh. I am going to truly go into "debbie-downer" mode. To me, this is confirmation. Both things she is says, are ACTUALLY the same thing. "I don't want to dash" or "encourage"....they amount to the same thing. Both say that we should expect nothing of value (value of course, being subjective, but to the majority of us in this thread, I find it a fitting term) when it comes to Thane and this DLC. Well, thank you Ms. Merizzan, at least I need not add another $15 to the $80 I did not get out of my copy of me3....since I was never able to enjoy and complete it.

There there. ME2 is still around. It's not like they can go back and make that game bad.

I think Bioware feeds on them now. it's the only explanation for the disappointment.

I was playing it today funny enough and even though I didn't romance him in this particular save I couldn't help but think
"Wow, you actually mattered in this game and the person that wrote you actually gave a crap about you!" Like I had to be reminded after playing ME3.I picked the option to ask about the hanar and remembered how much I wanted to see the homeworld in ME3 because of that conversation. The depth in ME2 compared to ME3 is staggering and you're right ME3 can't take that away at least.
