You know what gets me?

People who piggy backed off the Save Thane campaigns get something to show for it (and were acknowledged almost right away by devs) yet Thane fans will get "small" content and are only acknowledged right before the last DLC.

Le sigh.

And this something that should have been reveal from the start. Saying Thane's content was spoilery and complicated going to get them his fans dollars with how they'd been treated.

No one was going to spend 15 dollars for small content for their LI.

I actually liked most of the stories; the Bounty Hunter was a bit meh but had some great moments and my favorite supporting cast. Everytime I tried to go 'full' DS on TOR or KotOR I get so disconnected from the character and irritated at their actions that I delete/reroll/whatever is applicable to the game. I just can't immerse if my 'avatar' in a RP/game is totally anathema to me in morality. Tried, failed. Repeatedly.

My Shepard was a Paragon for that reason. There was a Renegade action or two that made sense, but a lot of them, like a lot of DS options in K1/2 and TOR are just mind bogglingly evil for the sake of evulz. IMHO, at least.

I actually logged on to post some other Thane-related thought, but I seem to have forgotten it.

And he said they don't want to make people play the game over. If it's good content, people will replay. I did with LOTSB. One before the suicide run, and one after.

Still hoping for a dialogue option with Kaidan where I say, "Sorry toots, you're just a mostly unsatisfying rebound. Closing my eyes and thinking of lizards." That'd be worth every penny.

Seriously though, I'm still going to buy the DLC. The other ones didn't have Thane in them either and I still had a good time. I'll take what I can get.

And thereafter: fanfic will be the only game in town.

Yeah, I remember when you confirm your destination with douchebag Hackett the game kinda takes over. You either go to a proper romance scene (that we didn't get) or you go straight to the dream.

Makin' ART then!! Woot! I have those metal rollers to flatten tin....LOL. I'm gonna try and use them on the damn case that nearly broke those stupid disks when I tried to take them out. AHAHAHAHA! Paper flowers for the "book"....need to think of something truly distructive for the disks themselves....ooooooh! My father-in-law has one of those shredders that also takes care of disks and credit cards....perfect.

All will then be arranged in an artful presentation....

My best friends son, when he was 2 and half, took a crap in the middle of his bedroom, stuck some crayons in it, and my friend, called it "art". (trying to make light of an awkward moment with a house guest. LOL). The boy in question is now 22 (but not terribly different than he was at 2...hehe); I'm wondering if he would consider a repeat performance, but with said game instead of crayons. LOLOLOL! XD

Hey, easy now. BioWare could've just as easily ignored the ME2 romances as a whole, and plenty of people who lobbied on behalf of their individual ME2 LIs did not do so by piggybacking off the Thane-related Internet movements. Would it somehow be better if no one from ME2 got anything extra through ME3's DLC?

EDIT: That being said, this is kinda bull****.  They had a good opportunity to fix what was wrong with Thane and Jacob, and chose not to.

In other words, it’s high-time to nail down plot details for my fix-it-fic.
Because if I have to re-write the third part of the ME triology to give my Shep and Thane any semblance of proper closure, then so be it. Even if my writing skills are crap and as slow as a snail, I'll do it.
