I'm kinda glad it's been revealed, no need to climb walls during the weekend.

I just don't know why they couldn't have said this from the beginning instead of telling us that spoilerish crap.
Now someone is saying we were being to sensitive about the zombie-Thane comment.

People who piggy backed off the Save Thane campaigns get something to show for it (and were acknowledged almost right away by devs) yet Thane fans will get "small" content and are only acknowledged right before the last DLC.
Le sigh.
And this something that should have been reveal from the start. Saying Thane's content was spoilery and complicated going to get them his fans dollars with how they'd been treated.
No one was going to spend 15 dollars for small content for their LI.

I've seen every storyline except the Smuggler and Trooper on the Republic side. My BFF and I played TOR tandem. I actually liked most of the stories; the Bounty Hunter was a bit meh but had some great moments and my favorite supporting cast. The Sith Inquisitor was hands down my favorite; my Inquisitor was flouncey and arrogant and mouthy, and it was perfect. I played a Dark Side Jedi Knight, and that one was just heartbreaking.
I'm the same on Rep side. I started a Smuggler and Trooper but they're nowhere. My b/f doesn't play with me much anymore, and I find soloing dull, especially since I soloed my Sniper and Marauder in rapid succession. Bored of solo. Bleh. Until he plays again, I don't do much. Also, I'm too much of a bleeding heart to ever play a DS character. Not in KotOR 1 or 2, and definitely not in TOR. I've taken a few DS actions but I end up with maybe 150 DS points total by the end that way, if that. ._. Everytime I tried to go 'full' DS on TOR or KotOR I get so disconnected from the character and irritated at their actions that I delete/reroll/whatever is applicable to the game. I just can't immerse if my 'avatar' in a RP/game is totally anathema to me in morality. Tried, failed. Repeatedly.
My Shepard was a Paragon for that reason. There was a Renegade action or two that made sense, but a lot of them, like a lot of DS options in K1/2 and TOR are just mind bogglingly evil for the sake of evulz. IMHO, at least.
I actually logged on to post some other Thane-related thought, but I seem to have forgotten it.

"This pack will most likely be played from people's auto-save made just before the assault on the Illusive Man's base, well after Thane has passed on."
That is a f*cking dream sequence, isn't it?

Sheesh...
Nice that they're finally admitting stuff. It makes it easier to make my decision.

A dream that should have been in the freaking game!
I don't even what to know what Jacob fans get. They've been run off the boards.
And he said they don't want to make people play the game over. If it's good content, people will replay. I did with LOTSB. One before the suicide run, and one after.

Seriously though, I'm still going to buy the DLC. The other ones didn't have Thane in them either and I still had a good time. I'll take what I can get.
And thereafter: fanfic will be the only game in town.

Great...I feel so much worse now. I wish Dusty had written Thane. He did a really good job with Steve. But I *hate* being forced to play as a male.

All will then be arranged in an artful presentation....
My best friends son, when he was 2 and half, took a crap in the middle of his bedroom, stuck some crayons in it, and my friend, called it "art". (trying to make light of an awkward moment with a house guest. LOL). The boy in question is now 22 (but not terribly different than he was at 2...hehe); I'm wondering if he would consider a repeat performance, but with said game instead of crayons. LOLOLOL! XD

EDIT: That being said, this is kinda bull****. They had a good opportunity to fix what was wrong with Thane and Jacob, and chose not to.

I tell you what. You can prove to me just how capable you are. Right here, right now. All you have to do is write me up a paragraph of how Thane could credibly survive from ME 2. According to you, it's just so easy, right? So obvious? Can you do that for me? Can you avoid the disgusting hypocrisy of shilling your own ideas as the best thing ever while whining continually about better content in the actual game?
You got it Coldi...I don't have anything. I really should save this to disk.

You should name the piece: "The speculative artistic integrity: And no savegames were kept ever."
*Sigh* I guess I'll continue to build Shrios stuff in the sandbox of headcanon then.
In other words, it’s high-time to nail down plot details for my fix-it-fic.
Because if I have to re-write the third part of the ME triology to give my Shep and Thane any semblance of proper closure, then so be it. Even if my writing skills are crap and as slow as a snail, I'll do it.
(Sorry for not keeping up over here; my browser has some serious issues reading html scripts and won't load things properly ugh)

Oh, perpetual troll? I'm not familiar with that one.
See, there's a catalogue of trolls in these forums, complete with descriptors like they were part of some BBC nature documentary!
...you're just lucky that you don't hang out in the Story forum. I'l occasionally peek in for information about the new DLC, and it's a mess in there.
