Okay, is anyone here sending witcheypoo Marzipan bomb threats?
*sorta raises hand*
I have size 8's Jake and they have your name on them. Behave hun.
*snickers* kinda funny though.
I'd never send anyone bomb threats and admit to it. OK I'd never send any bomb threats.
EDIT what the heck kinda of name is blueprossprick I mean it sounds like someone who still watches blue clues or what ever that old show was with the blue dog. Really what kind of name is bluesprossprick?

"You killed Operative/Scoundrel DPS!"
WAI
"Are we ever getting buffs? Ever? Maybe? No? No one wants us in raids unless we heal."
WAI
Meanwhile, in Marauder land: *owns everyone with one or two buttons*
And I say this as someone with a 50 Marauder and a 40 Operative who intends to heal, but has issues even *leveling* quickly because kills are slooooow. We get a gap closer finally, almost a year after the fact. Herp derp.
Oh wait, this isn't the TOR forums. My bad, it all seems so familiar.
*goes to watch male IA vids because his voice is pure sex and that will at least calm her Thane-related rage*

I don't agree with all the ME3 hate in this thread, but as a person who went through the same garbage with Ash/Kaidan and Liara in ME2 and a person who also liked Thane and did romance him, yes I'm not happy. At least with Liara and Kaidan I got the content i wanted, will never happen with Thane. I gave up on Bioware ever tryign to do anything good with the character. It sucks Thanemancers won't get anything while miranda and Jack will and the Liara, Garrus and Kaidan fans will get our normal due. It's garbage. I got rid of my Thane save a year ago and I did hope, small hope that maybe they would do osmething good with Thane and I would redo Jessica, sadly Bioware seems to not care. Looks like Fiona, Bastila, Joshua and James will be my only Shepards who survived the importing process.mnomaha wrote...

And Mr. House is freaking cool like that.

My Thanemancing Shepard also did not survive the import process. Hell, she got axed back in ME1. I'm not sure I really wanna go through all of ME2 with that character, build up a connection, and then just leave it hanging. I'm decent at headcanoning my way around an ending now that MEHEM is around...much harder to redo a whole game.

Truth be told, I didn't get far past Palaven in ME3 before I gave up on the game, though I did Youtube major points of interest. Tuchanka, for example, I find to be a very well written high point of the series.

I was going to attempt to headcanon my way around the vast majority of ME3, but I pretty much abandoned the notion.
MEHEM spared me the trouble of working around the ending, and that was my biggest problem with the series. There were other problems, but they didn't threaten to break any of my playthroughs the way the ending did. So I can play ME3 with two of my Sheps, including MEHEM, and be reasonably ok with the whole thing.

the saddest part about this will be when the other character fandoms start to celebrate over all the new content they got, while we get to watch on the sidelines like the kid who forgot to bring their swimsuit to the pool party. i tend to be the raging/jealous/grudge-holding type so i know for a fact that im going to end up hating practically everyone else in the ME fandom and their respective characters. it's just the way i am and it's unavoidable. i'm already starting to feel resentment towards my sister who is a garrusmancer and supposedly an avid feminist but when it comes to bioware she turns a blind eye and continues to buy all their DLC and support them, and only offers a grimace when i explain the Thane situation. and its not even her fault but there you have it.
so i might as well officially excuse myself from this whole series/company for the rest of my life starting now because i already have enough anger management issues as it stands right now.
its time for me to try out new games (just got into assassin's creed in november and its been helping A LOT i really recommend it, and the fandom is fantastic), read some books, watch some shows, read some webcomics i've been meaning to read, anything that's miles away from this wretched turd factory of a company.
there will always be a hole in my heart in regards to Thane, and while i dont think i will get over him for a long time, its time for me to move on and this will probably be my last post. Bioware doesn't deserve my continued interest. or anything for that manner.
it was nice knowing you guys, i wish you all the best of luck.

I'm not even mad anymore. And that makes me feel awkward because I should feel really mad, but I'm just disappointed now. Maybe I just subconsciously knew from the start that we wouldn't matter. It's kind of a relief to finally know and finally put it past me. We know most of Bioware's true colors now... gotta count for something.
(I'm saying most because I'm sure there are devs who didn't like it more than we did and the MP devs seem pretty alright too, not to say those outside of ME development)
I hope one day we can see equality in games, it seems we're a long way from it now, since the content for females are the first thing to go when there's time constraints. Perhaps I should look up a sex-change, that'd solve a lot of problems I have!

Ridiculously enough, I have a small hope yet...but the notion of a dream sequence is not enough to make me spend 15euro on this DLC, sorry BW! You need to do a lot better than that-and since we all know you won't by now...*hmf*
I kept thinking, unlike my friend Thraz above, that our efforts would mean something; I expected it to, in fact, given everyone's(myself included) trust in BW and the fact they kept telling us they were 'listening to the fans'!
Listening to the fans means making a 3rd FFXIII game because people wanted Lightning back!!
Listening to the fans does not mean ignoring them and giving them the worst attitude possible all through this mess, especially after having admitted that the errors were on your part!!

LOL I actually named one of my MP drell Tink because the whole Tink Krios theory is just hilarious.gearseffect wrote...
By the end of ME2 he had a will to live if romanced or as a friend. Then ME3 and he's worse than he was when you meet him in ME2. "F*ck you I'm dying" was all Tink Krios was about in ME3.
*looking at the other Thane thread* .....I don't know why the trolls even bother anymore. It's not like Thane or anything can come between them and their precious blue babies anymore.
And @firel, sorry to hear that you're leaving, but if you read this, I wish all the best to you.

I do not know if it came from this fanbase, but with all the recent anger we are experiencing, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a Thane fan.

yes, bomb and death threats received by at least one staffer - from a "fandom" here on BSN - I'm HOPING it's not this one. Not exactly how I want to be represented as a Thanemancer. I'm disappointed, but it's a game. No need for name calling, swearing, etc. It's over. Move on.

I agree, however it isn't anything I want my name associated with, and it paints the entire fandom with the same brush. not cool. Again, not sure it's this fandom anyway. Just trying to find out.

@Stilo -- Totally with you about ME1 vs ME2. Though, I did think the story and ending in ME1 were better. ME2 had stronger characterization and was a more polished product, imo.
@mnomaha -- Omg the Phoenix story in the Xmen....that is also when I stopped watching the movies.
@Askeebe -- Glad you enjoyed the list
@Looney -- I understand but disagree with your assessment about Thane as a plot device for ME3. I think pretty much everyone already hated Kai Leng by that point. His involvement with Cerberus was enough to make players hate him. Thane was killed because it was a convenient way to save money.
@Mr. House -- Thanks for fighting the good fight with us, sir.
GOT -- I'm still watching, but came very close to stopping after the first season. Just like I actually did with Rome.
- Drogo -- omg looooove Jason Momoa; I was very upset that he died, but I'm on the same page with Sable; it was necessary to advance Daenyrs' plot
- Tyrion & Jorah -- 2 of my favorite characters right now
- Sansa -- STUPID girl now deserves everything she gets
- Aria's Mystery Dude -- am I the only one who loves this man? BTW, he TOTALLY reminds me of Zevran!!!
- Joffrey -- his head on a pike is nowhere near good enough; he needs to die the most heinous, horrible dead imaginable
Headcannons/MEHEM -- we should need these, is my problem.
Bomb Threats -- Seriously? Some people are jsut unstable. As much as I hate BW/EA right now, obviously no excuse for any type of violence.
Reasoning with Trolls -- Maybe some of you should re-read my Thane CS from Tuesday :]
