But notice it's still all about broShep. And I guess Miri and JAck were the only ME2 squadmates that mattered. But where is Ash?
Where's femShep's version?
Also, I saw the line of wish fullment for the fans. If that's the case, where is femShep's fans fullfillment?
Retorical question there.

mnomaha- Is your Skyrim working any better? Did any of that help at all? I can go dig up some more things on the Beth boards if there's specific places or things making you crash. Fighting w/ TES games actually amuses me, though I have no idea why.
Also: Shara taking those people to school...and yet they still seem to be absorbing nothing.
Thanks for the virtual boot to get me going on this. Cleaning the files was not the nightmare I imagined it would be. I'll let you know if it works. <3
Please do.
I see the Citadel thread exploded and derailed while I was doing lots of WvWvW in GW2 today... not even going to try to begin to engage the trollicious nonsense in there atm. I already got into an argument with my b/f over stupid BS, I don't feel up to engaging that wall of hatred. Needless to say I think I'm pretty much 'done' with this place again, other than this thread.
Those that are leaving, if you aren't totally 'off Bioware' (and I wouldn't blame you), maybe pick up TOR. There's a lot of restrictions on F2P, yeah, but not enough to hinder you just from doing the story of each class to 50, and a lot of them are amazing. At the very least, there's no Kai Lame, Starbrat, or RGB. I recommend Jedi Knight, Imperial Agent, and Sith Warrior (at least Light Side, on the latter two, is great). Haven't gotten far enough in the rest to have a real opinion, other than Jedi Consular. That one was...dull, to me. There's also romances! No one as cool as Thane, though. :/ Malavai Quinn for femSith Warrior has decent 'drama' potential. Vector for femImperial Agent actually amuses me, in spite of -or perhaps because of- his Kilik Joiner thing. I fully believe that over half of what he says is only awkward on purpose, as a form of subtle trolling. Especially of Kaliyo. >.>;
Now, to go clear up this Dynamic Event and hope my crappy baby Mesmer doesn't die in the process.

Very much seconded. Don't get me wrong, TOR suffers from a lot of design issues. It's basically WoW in space with lightsabers...just not done as well. Gameplay is strictly mediocre. On the other hand, TOR is definitely a diamond in the rough when it comes to the writing.
I've personally played the Jedi Knight, Sith Inquisitor, and Bounty Hunter story arcs. My best friend played alongside me: Jedi Consular, Sith Warrior, and Imperial Agent. IMO the Agent, the Knight, and the Inquisitor got the best writing. Especially if you play against expected alignment (ie; light side Sith, dark side Jedi), there's some brilliant writing there. Most of the moral choices are pretty simple good and evil, but again, the game can surprise you.
Here are the female romance options I've either watched in their entirety or played myself:
- Vector Hyllis (Imperial Agent): probably the most "alien" character despite being technically human. Sweet, intelligent, and surprisingly complex.
- Torian Cadera (Bounty Hunter): the opposite of the typical issues-ridden BioWare LI. This guy is rock-solid, a wonderful cook, and kind of adorkable to boot.
- Andronikos Revel (Inquisitor): Well, he's a pirate voiced by Steve Blum who offers to pilot your ship for you. What more could a Sith want? My personal favorite.
- Malavai Quinn (Warrior): Quinn manages to be both a badass genius tactician and a stuffy British dude. Adorables insue.

627 pages testify that he was a great character.
It seems out of place to try and resurrect him.

@Sable - If you could let me know your opinion of the DLC, that would be great. I'm in no rush to find out about it or play it, so it doesn't matter when you get around to it. And I'll be on holiday soon anyway! Thanks for offering to do it!
You're very welcome. Mnomaha was good enough to do a no-import playthrough of ME3 for us, it seems the least I could to do return the favor

I used to play TOR but unsubbed 2-3 months after I got it. I couldn't even reach max level because I was worn out from having to grind several levels and having issues finding quests (since I hate group quests)
I played a male Imperial agent and I did like him and the story but I never got to finish it, I started a few others as well but... I guess my long time in WoW has spoiled me with mmos. When I heard there was basically no end game content (if you don't raid) I couldn't even be arsed to see where the story went. =/
Malavai Quinn was cute but not fully my type... and since I played a male agent I didn't know Vector was a Li until very high lvl. And by god, I did not want to level another agent and see the exact same thing.
I did like the female trooper's LI though, he was adorable. Ending up youtubing that romance because again.. I had huge exp problems and got tired of trying to grind my way to right levels. But mostly the end of lack game content drove me off.
So myeah... I'm afraid it won't help me. I'll play the dlc, then move on from ME3 Sp and stick to MP. Story wise, Heart of the Swarm is soon releasing so I'll get a new good story (hopefully) through out march.
After that... sitting and waiting on DA3 and hope it's not screwed up.

My solo Marauder hit cap on Voss, a bit later than my duo character, but still a world early, and remained ~4 levels over each world. My Sniper had the worst time, but that's because I forgot a couple of Bonus series. She capped on Corellia itself, but that's the 'as intended' point and I didn't run out of quests. My Operative, she can *solo* Heroics, so I'm 5-6 levels over each world and will probably cap on Belsaavis on her, as well. Yes, Operative. Sniper. I leveled Agent twice. Because it's that epic to me.
More or less though, you can skip every group quest, and so long as you do every solo quest and the Bonus series to the worlds that have them, you won't have to group. You'll probably cap right at Corellia and I hate the hell out of Corellia and try to avoid it, but you should never have to grind.
We totally need a Cosmic Love guild on some MMO. XD

I never had any exp problems, really. If you had just one duo partner (say, if someone from this thread played with you) you can actually duo nearly every Heroic (group) quest. I know, because my b/f and I did it, and only three of them proved infeasible. Two on Tatooine, one on Belsaavis. Since you get bonus exp every time your party members complete a quest or bonus quest, you basically get another 1/4 or so of the quest's exp each time. Give/take. We were 4-6 levels ahead of each world before we even got to it, and hit the cap about two worlds early.

Well, I don't know if things have changed. I got it on release date (december?) and then stopped in february... I know they have released large patches since then.
I actually reinstalled it a few months ago when it became free to play and hahah.. believe it or not, the fact I couldn't remove the helmet WITHOUT paying for it. I quit the game right there. xD Not a good first impression after almost a year of being away. (call me silly but those small things does a lot for me)
And yeah, that thread. Haven't been in it for days now and I'm glad for that. I feel much better being away from the trolls.

But yeah, on topic, I think they really ought to just close that thread and move on. The DLC certainly isn't going to be changed at this point, it isn't even feasible. And continuing to put ourselves out there for the amusement of the trolls is just not sensible. I don't like being angry, and tend to actively avoid threads or topics that make me angry and that has become one such thread. I don't even feel the need to defend myself anymore, because I know they screwed up on Thane. They know it, because they admitted they dropped the ball. They actively chose to do next to nothing about it, and as we have seen with the endings, and other things in the past, they are sticking to their 'vision' with an absurd amount of stubbornness on things that don't even deserve it. So we may as well let it go. Hell, I'm all for us setting up our own forum somewhere like another 'faction' did. I'll leave them nameless lest it become a reason to lock this down too, seeing how BW reacts to threads in that vein.

A few months ago, I refused to buy products EA. My husband and I unsubscribed SWTOR a few months after the release of ME3.
