Not enough info to be sure. If he does some growing up, he might accept and appreciate Shepard for what she's done for him and Thane. He seemed still pretty hung up about his mother though, so I could also see him flipping out over "replacing" Irikah.

I dunno, I think Kolyat's big issue was with Thane himself. It's possible that he'd respect Shepard more than Thane, at least initially. Hard to say!

Thane murders mermaids while Blasto isn't looking.

I hope Thane gets better. He's dark and mysterious without being a whiny emo bit**. Kudos to Bioware for pulling it off. Truly a dangerous territory to tread on.

Maybe Kolyat owns a Shepard VI.

Shepard is larger than life to most people on the Citadel. A celebrity.

I've always wondered why Kolyat yells "You son of a ****!" after Shepard punches him. Is he calling her a man? Or is he yelling at Bailey who wants him handcuffed?

What I like about that interjection is that while Thane never waffles on his personal feelings of what is morally right, he never questions or goads Shepard one way or the other. He always phrases his opinions in a way that lets you know what he feels but not at the expense of your own decision.

How would y'all's Shepards get along with Kolyat, you think?

I have these images of Shepard Stepmom --- Shepmom perhaps? In any case, I can't decide if he would be resentful or receptive. He seemed like he's kind of coming around to Thane, so he might eventually come around to Shepard.

I could also see him being resentful of the fact that Thane is willing to spend time with Shep but wasn't willing to be with Kolyat before now. Still, if Thane dies soon, I could see Shepard kind of keeping an eye out for Kolyat, regardless.

This is something I've thought a lot about. I really find the dynamic of Thane not being able to setlle into family life interesting. His wife must have understood that his body was his tool and that killing was all he knew, and he certainly loved her very much, but he must have felt disconncted from her somehow. I've thought a lot about this...gotta keep myself entertained at work, you know?

I've always wondered this too! I guess it was a dialog slip or he was referring to Bailey. Maybe even Thane.

I mean, the crazy armored cyborg who just punched him in the face is with his dad.

Yes, that is one of the things I like so much about him.  He can voice an opinion without crowding or judgment.

I would hope Kolyat could come to see Shep as a person, and as his father's LI last.  It is very hard to say.

Edit:  Icca, get out of my brain!  Eh, on second thought, make yourself at home, there's plenty of vacancy!

Truthfully, he had me at the neck snap too (or maybe it was the throat punch, but definitely by the time he straightened up after laying Nassana down), but I was referring to that screenshot. He says "Siha," and then my Shepard is all smiles and nods, mesmerized by his voice. "Whatever you say dear."

The blur trailer (which I somehow missed until AFTER the game was released) just made me completely geek out and go head over heels. No questions after that.

I think he totally outshined Sheploo in that trailer. :D

I know. :) I know when I played I triggered that comment on purpose. I just wanted to hear it.

That blur trailer is amazing! I snatched a few screenties for one of the THane groups (I forget which), is it me, or is Thane so BA, and sexy in that! Idk, the blur trailer and that custom launch trailer featuring Fem!Shepard are awesome. <3

Very BA. The skill, the stealth, the expressions, are all masterful.
