Hi everyone.

@coldi - It was me who started the webpage. Actually it was almost finished, but I started university, and asked for help on the #SaveThane group. A lot of people offered to help translating, making texts, images... But in a few weeks, only Emerald was still helping me. 3 months ago I posted a message asking for help again, I only needed help with one text.

Nobody answered. The first weeks, I came back every day searching for an answer. Eventually I stopped doing that. I can ask for help, once, twice, a lot of times. But I can't force people to cooperate. To be honest, in the end I felt hurt. I spent time and money on this and nobody seemed to care. That's the reason of why I stopped.

If you need a new place to be you can use the web, that was the reason for doing it in the first place. We can finish it and use it, it only needs a forum and it's done. This way at least my work wouldn't be for nothing. If you want another page, no problem, it's your choice.

PS: I don't want anybody to feel bad with my message... I only want to explain what happened. Also, recently I discovered something. A lot of people who post here, wasn't on the #SaveThane group, for various reasons. And I suppose there is new people here since I left. Well, this is the web: www.savethane.com

Thank you for letting us know.  I can't speak for anyone else, but I generally don't go into groups (the Thane plushie group, is the only one I ever really remember to pop into), and I know for myself, that my time got wrapped up in the Cosmic Love blog.  Sorry we weren't more responsive to your plea, and I want to thank you for what you did accomplish.
Whatever the case is though, just having a friendly place to gather would be nice.

I'm not in that group at all, I'm afraid. Not a fan of their group system at all.

 @serenade22: Thanks for posting that link. Even if there isn't much there yet, at least it consolidated links to the Save Thane presence on all kinds of other corners of the Internet. I'm glad to find resources elsewhere, because this forum doesn't look like a good fit anymore.

I'm really glad there is discussion about moving off-site. I'm a big fan of independent grassroots stuff. Also I'd be so sad to lose touch with this community when I feel like I just found it. You guys are so on the pulse of everything Thane-related online, and now that there will be no more in-game content, I need that fandom lifeline

I'm still going to be around BSN for Garrus, Miranda, and Dragon Age, but if there's a move of the Thane fans offsite, I'll probably hang out there too.

@Serenade- Reason I never got involved in a lot of the 'movement' in the past was the fact that I don't like, and don't use, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Social networking has never been my thing. Well, that and not long after launch I just wrote ME off and stopped paying attention to any of it on the whole, really. But yeah, forums is about as much as you can get me involved in. The Groups section here I used to be more active in, but since I left the only one I really posted in, I don't bother with those either. That said, I'm sorry no one helped you for long back when you were trying to set a lot of that up.

I was talking about Bioware's general group system, not the specific group.

The fact they try and force ITers and what not, into groups where none will notice them, is putting me off from them now too.

New site. This was born from femShep's unequal treatment and how certain fanbases were treated compared to others.

 I'd be happy with going to another forum/site.  I pretty much only check this thread.  Occasionally, I may go poke around for other stuff, especially DAO and/or Zevran.  

Finally poked over into the John-In-France's thread and saw what happened to Renmiri.  That bugged me all afternoon.  Not fair.   Sometimes, I really think the ME division is staffed only with young males who just are clueless about life in the larger picture.

I'm having a conversation with Raen right now. When it's done, I'll ask i f I can share it. The gist is that because Ren had a prior ban, and the trolls didn't she was banned and they weren't.

They still should have been banned as well. Nothing they wrote was on topic. They came in there simply to mock us, and that mod knew that but didn't care. He just used her prior ban as an excuse to extend it.

I just need the save so I can run through the dlc with everything unlocked. If you can link the save somewhere that'll be great.

I also need a Jacob save, Steve save, Jack, and Tali. I refuse to do Liara.
I'm going to test the experience of the LIs. For example, gay Kaisan was a much better experience for me than straight Kaidan.

@Dineboo - wish I could contribute, but everything I have for ME is on xbox. I didn't have a PC capable of playing said games, until this last summer. I WAS intending to rebuy at least ME and ME2 on PC(would have included me3 and said DLC had things turned out differently), but after everything that has happened here, I have no intention of giving BW anymore money for anything ME related. Sorry I'm not more help. However, if you ever need anything relating to ME in ME1 or ME2, let me know. I good with those two (just can't justify paying any more money even IF it is just those two for the PC). I might suggest that you send a PM to @mnomaha for anything Steve or Kaidan related with M!Shep (she has done run throughs for both of those romances with a male Shepard on the PC.).

The sad thing is about Renmiri....her previous ban was related to defending against Thane related trollish/flame-baiting posters. Wish I still had the link....it is in the old C&R forum.

Oooohhhh!, and BTW.....aPOLL.  Feel free to answer it honestly, but I definately fall into the "nope! had problems with this game from the get-go!"  Proof is in the pudding....have not loaded said game since March. 7th.  Anyway, if the spirits should move ya.....VOTE!
