Oooohhhh!, and BTW.....aPOLL.  Feel free to answer it honestly, but I definately fall into the "nope! had problems with this game from the get-go!"  Proof is in the pudding....have not loaded said game since March. 7th.  Anyway, if the spirits should move ya.....VOTE!

Even if Thane, Jacob, Miri, and Jack were well done, the game still had a lot of design problems, particularly when it came to roleplaying.  At least the combat gameplay was nice and smooth.

well I saw someone to say, that it might be a Thane's funeral..If it's true, there for sure I will not buy this DLC, while in my head-cannon Thane is alive, and I will not ruin it. Anyway thank you for answers...Now I just need to learn about this "intrigue" from YouTube and I will be done with ME universe.

Also, in the closing picture in the video, if you pause it, you can see everyone is there, including Jacob and Samara.

Everyone but Thane....and maybe Legion (just remembered him).

Yeah, I think that would probably be a good idea, Moira. Most folks here will want to know what they are getting into prior to purchasing -- for those who are even open to purchasing it.

If they kill off Kolyat too, I will flip. At least don't destroy Thane's last good thing. (they wouldn't go that far though)

Just me who's amused on how the heck they made Javik agree to the photo...? I mean, what did they threaten him with.

Also, I'm sure it's a memorial service for Thane. Kolyat AND what looks like the salarian council member is there? Or is it the dalatress (dafuq?)

A funeral is the the one thing I really hoped they would NOT do. Pathetic. Not that we didn't already have proof of this, but my GOD! Thane SOOOO was not written to be a LI in me3. Have nothing impactful relating to his romance and his forced death, and then PAY EXTRA for a funeral. Don't care there is other material in the DLC....too many people were looking forward to this DLC for one thing: Interactions with companions and LI's of choice.

Sorry....need to let out my inner sailor for a moment. X(

It has to be the Councillor, no? I can't imagine why the Dalatress would be there, Thane saved the Councillor's life, etc.

A funeral. Hmnh. I won't slight having Kolyat, because I like Kolyat. Both as a character, and for the utterly silly reason that he shares a VA with Reno and Axel. I'll be looking forward to the Youtubes and the spoilerifics for tomorrow. No ME game is even installed on my rig anymore, and I hated having to have Origin as it was, so even if Thane came back I doubt I'd put that crapware back on my PC.

Which reminds me, note to self: Self, for DA3, if you bother to get it, get on PS3.

And like Roxy, I too shall tab back to a game! To GW2, and my pathetic damage mesmer! If it gets better, I don't know how anyone even stands it long enough to get there.

I told myself I wouldn't lose it, but I am totally losing it. This is such a mess.

It might not even be a funeral/memorial service like we're speculating but the very thought just sickens me. Acknowledgement of his death should have been in the vanilla game since it was a forced outcome. We shouldn't have to pay for that. I hate that all Thane content has to revolve around his death in some way.

I would have preferred DLC that can be played as soon as Shepard regains control of the Normandy. That way a scene with Thane (alive!) would have been possible.

Could You please send me PM and tell me if it's funeral or not? I will watch Citadel on youtube, but Im not sure if this player will have Thane alive ( from ME2) or not. First I though that if story in this DLC will be good, so maybe I will buy it, but if there is funeral scene I will happilly use my MPs for WWE add-ons

Like some said in the other thread, they're using Koylat so they don't have to use Thane.

Why would anyone think that a funeral is satisfactory towards Thane fans? This should have already been in the game!

It's a big middle finger, especially since you can do other things with your li.

I do want to know what they're going to do with Jacob. Is he still going to be a cheater?

I can only imagine interaction between Siha!Shepard and Kolyat. She's technically his stepmother...
And, to be honest, I doubt that the scene with Bailey and salarian councilor is from Thane's funeral. Samara and Tali aren't supposed to be on the Citadel right after the Cerberus coup.
Perhaps it's not funeral, but an opening ceremony for Thane's monument?
