I have my Thanemancer FemShep but I'd rather play my main Shepard first unless I know I have something worthwhile coming :innocent:

Moira may still come through for us, or perhaps Dineboo can snag someones Thanemancing save, and give it a whirl. Well, that is if she is buying the DLC.....can't remember if she said that she was going to for her experiment or not.

But I am guessing it is going to be a day or two before we know. Aaaaaand I still can't click on the funeral link. I guess I really am going to have to wait for booze. Tomorrow I'm drinkin'! Heh!

Not buying the ME3 DLC, any of it. I splurged today and bought DA2 and am downloading the DLC for it now. I know it has problems but I'm still looking forward to trying it.

I had to go investigate this 'beta Patch'. Sounds interesting. Also sounds like it'll break some well loved mods out in the population. I feel bad for the writers of things like SkyRe and whatnot. I'm very glad the fixes worked, though! No crashes = victory! Another Skyrim beaten into the proper submission of a game program: do what I want you to do when I want you to do it. XD

...I have nothing about Thane to add. Dentist visit put me in too bad a mood/pain to even actively think in ME's direction.

As someone who made it through the DLC with Shepard who romanced Thane I can say that my Shepard got unique options/lines during the memorial speech (unique as in 'different from what I have seen on youtube so far'). The paragon option doesn't say anything about him being a criminal, no. Shepard mentioned that Thane fell in love with Irikah because she risked her life to protect someone she barely knew, and so he did himself while protecting the Councilor.

Then, should you choose a paragon option again, she says that is the reason she loves Thane, and she doesn't expect this -- her feelings -- to change. Her voice breaks a little, and she cuts the speech off.

As for messages, the first one is different: Thane uses 'Siha' instead of 'Shepard', and says 'I love you' in the end. There is also a fourth, romance-specific, and Shepard cries while listening to it.

And as a non romancer, a funeral in lieu of sharing moments with your LI is not the same.

@Askeebe - I was one of those lucky individuals who never saw DA2 as a sequel to Origins, so I never had a problem starting with a new PC. Plus, I am good with either voiced or silent protags. As for some of the other complaints, I saw DA2's flaws (yup, that I did), but I still had fun with it.....and I am fairly enamored with a particularly broody elf. Have fun!

OMG, downloading this f*cking DLC at 84.32 Kbs...so it will be done in 11 f*cking hours. Are you kidding me EA?? I don't care that it's release day. Plan the f*ck ahead.

Yes, I have a headache and yes, I hurt my back but I still managed to work, so why can't EA actually do its job and sell me a game I can download. Freaking Origin is the biggest mistake in game clients ever created.

Sorry, I don't mean to sound so damn snarky, but I just....a ghost, but it makes no "sense" to keep him alive?....a clone coming after Shep, but giving him a life extention (via lung transplant or other treatment) is beyond the scope of reality?

I just saw them too. Maybe it's better if you actually play it yourself.
