I'd settle from some shots of the shore leave desert vacation I imagine taking place between ME2 and ME3. It's rated M for a reason, right?

I almost wouldn't mind it if there was some drell heaven cutscene afterward with Shepard and Thane enjoying their permanent vacation... But that's too silly. :P

I hinted at this in a recent fic.  It's kind of the best-worst-case scenario I could think of.

I'm surprised I don't see more stories about Thane and the desert.

I think my Shepard would feel at home in the desert. So would he:

Every time I start to try and do something about Thane and a desert, I get the phrase "Ants in the pants" stuck in my head, and then it goes no where good.

Here's a non sequitur. Anyone else think Thane's skin would have the texture of a snake?

Oh yes. Warm and suedey in some places, harder and armor-y in others. I love snakes and lizards.

Ooh... yes, yes. The scales being obvious little bumps, but it would be smooth just like a snake. I like to think it would be soothing to run your fingers over, like the tactile equivalent of a cat's purr. Rawr. ^_^

I wonder if Drell moult...

But good to know I'm not the only one who would find that particularly alluring about him. The skin texture, not the moulting.

Oh lord, a Thane-sized-and-shaped skin. What an image. Unlikely for limbed large, complicated bodies, though. But hey, who knows?

Hm. Hadn't really considered whether drell moult. If anything, hopefully he'd just shed them scale by scale... not in one big inside-out-Thane-thing. Ugh! If he has to moult, all I can say is that he'd better not eat it like some lizards do.

It probably wouldn't be one of his more attractive days.

:lol:There is no such thing as unattractive when it comes to Thane. So there is no moulting.

I wonder if his shed skin would carry psychedelic properties? Maybe that's why the hanar saved his race. They're really the evil drug brokers of the galaxy.

LOL. That's a wierd image in my head right now.

And I think it's gross with hairs falling out of your head... imagine to have scales all over the bathroom floor...

Oh everybody's here and so many posts... what's going on? Not that I'm complaining.

Flamewielder, where is the Legion option in that poll?

Pacifien, look how you changed the thread's direction now -- moulting? ^^ Although I admit sometimes I wonder similar disturbing things about aliens and stop before it ruins all of them for me. Think about all the disturbing things the human body does, now imagine how it'd be for aliens...Aaanyway

Shavon, that pic with Thane and your Shep in bed... my game never allows me to call LI to my room. I'm not sure if I should be grateful or annoyed though. The music there makes me nervous and the animations too. Still, I'd like to have the option.

After the Collector mission, if your li is still alive (hopefully!), talk to them first, get their commentary on the suicide mission, then head straight up to Shep's quarters.  The terminal will have "Call, Thane" or whoever you are romancing, and they will appear sitting on your couch.  Have you tried that?

Yep, I believe I did that. Nothing. This is my third playthrough and I'll make sure to do that in that order this time, though. We'll see, thanks :)

Sorry have come late to this thread so if this has already been said then just ignore - perhaps killing Thane off and recruiting his son in ME3 is the outcome, giving all you gals some hot (younger) drell action?

Oh and thanks for the nice screen caps!Posted Image

Buggirl, yes, it's been suggested many times on this thread and kindly rejected by the fans. Hot younger drell action may be appealing to some, but impracticality of it overwhelmes the the more lighthearted aspects I believe. To start with, younger Krios lacking the necessary "killing machine" talents that his father has for example. Or everything in game pointing to a future with Kolyat staying far away from any kind of weapon if possible.

Speaking of killing machines, I'm sure a lot of Thane fans take him to every mission with them (I know I do - if my videos are not proof enough). What do you guys think about him as a squad mate? Do you think he stands out on the battlefield compared to other mates? Does any one of them stand out for that matter? What about his survivability? Be honest :) I'll try to sum up my thoughts about it later.
