Huh... so it is a glitch then... I guess I should feel better about it now but all I can think is that they really didn't put much effort into that scene.

Hi guys, I'm back!
I'm currently going through ME2 with friendship!Thane on my FemShep. I'll be able to get most of his non-romanced content, since I think very little changes on gender except him referring to Shep as "siha" once, even on the friendship path. I've got save points on the Normandy every time I finish a major mission, so I should be able to go back and replay stuff. I'm not going to see what happens if you ignore Thane or don't do his loyalty, but realistically, everyone who uses this mod will probably like Thane and play through as much of his content as possible. It's not necessary to cater to players who didn't spend much time with him, since they're unlikely to want his survival in the first place.
Also, can I get a PM to the new forum. Pretty please?

Ok so... this isn't about Thane... and I'm still not going to be around much... but I just had to pop in and share my excitement!! Plus, Gears might be around and I think he'd like this! I got to meet Rana!!! And, seeing as it's her birthday and I was going to dinner with her and other awesome people, I made a cake for the occasion...
And in an attempt to keep it on topic - I did drop by the Bioware base today... they had a really big picture of Thane as part of one of their backboards. Garrus and Tali were about too.

OMG, I didn't know he made the audio for that edition of the comic. It's here:

So after playing the Citadel DLC like four times (on my fifth now... I need to get a life), I finally feel like I've seen all the possible permutations that I was interested in, and can finally show my face around here again without fear of spoilers! And so, after about a billion hours, I've caught up on this thread... soon I can head over to the Super Seekrit other forum and catch up there too...

That poll makes me... meh.
I love Thane's romance in ME2 but in the third game it's really bad and doesn't deserve mention.
Garrus is the only romance I played that is good in both ME2 and ME3. =/

Heh, reminds me of when my brother kept bugging me to watch two episodes of Beverly Hills.
I couldn't fathom why (since I was never interested in that show),until a bandmanager by the name of Jules appeared on screen with an all too familiar voice.
Slightly related: Hearing Kolyat's VA (Quinton Flynn) in the role of a dark elf villain with lines like: "Bring me a slave, a new one! And towels for the blood!" in Heroes of Might Magic V: Hammers of Fate, is perhaps equally hilarious.
