If you made another one, I would suggest sending it straight to Coldie. I'm going to try holding on to him for another week or so at most, to get him down to Airlie Beach (we actually have patches of blue sky today. wippee!!!) for some photos down there. plus the people at the opal shop do traditional aboriginal paintings and i want to get one for him. Plus I told the woman who does the paintings about the plushie and she wants to meet him. He has made many friends here: my best friend, her daughter, my friend ann, my plushie, me, mum... I just wish I could get mum to hold him still, so I can pose Thane with Thane. I think it would be funny, watching him play my violin. But after that I'll be sending him on. Much as I would LOVE to keep him, I know I can't, which makes me sad. But he will be home soon, so that's okay. Btw, we totally need to make a Shepard and Kolyat plushie, so we can send them to him so he won't be lonely anymore. He's missing his Siha and son.

And... right. More photos. Um... well that's no problem. I took something like 300 of the my Thane plushie. Let's see...



Thane said when we found this fountain in the Hamilton Gardens that the Great Temple of Kalahira on Rakhana once had a fountain like this. He said that each water droplet was a soul, it's path through the air symbolised their growth through life, before they finally reached their peak, and began their descent back into Kalahira's welcoming embrace in death. It was kinda sweet, I thought. And very sad.

And mnomaha will recognise this place when she comes back.

I guess me mentioning that I've begun initial work on an edited Thane model in 3dsMax; one that has him sans jacket and pants won't help at all then will it?

It's very much a WIP atm (and I'll be finishing that dress re-skin first), but damn, I can't wait to have that model for rendering. :3

When it comes to the lack of posting/traffic in these forums,I think the problem is simple. Some have just moved on. Others are taking time to do other things, but will probably check back once in a while, and maybe even come back in force. Then there are those working on the MOD. This can be a bit consuming, and I think it ends up being the main focus for some (myself included). However, I have noticed that not many people are bothering to post in the other threads on the new forum.

I was actually thinking of starting up some threads regarding role playing Shepards, Wardens and Hawkes. Since I don't play Skyrim or any other rpg's currently, these are the only PC's I have any experience with. Thought it might be fun though. Get people talking about these games (and others outside of my limited gameplay...lol!) again.

Will post more pics later....must get some early sleep tonight. Nitey-nite!

Those tattoos look great. I don't think I could have handled the pain of getting a tatto that size.

Well, I'm glad I have this page bookmarked, otherwise I'd never see anyone.

I miss you guys, but I'm starting to think that I'm slowly making my way into the "moving on" category, cause I just don't do anything me related lately. I haven't written anything for Invictus, espcially not since I decided to finally just let teh Fanbook essay... and the fanbook really, since I don't have the edited files for upload/submission... die.

I haven't "moved on" yet, partially because of work on the Thane mod, and partially because I haven't "finished" my headcanon of ME3, or rather, my Shepard's journey and by extension, Thane's.

Tbh, I never completely move on from a fandom, Sure, my activity slows down, but I can easily find myself enjoying fandom (or parts of it) years afterwards. Hell, I'll even create fan-works if my muse tickles me enough.

Getting late but had to stop in and say HIIIIIIIII

I finally got this damn thing going. Sadly, I had to pay for a new bios chip *and* freight because my bios was outdated and not talking to a cpu that was released after it came out. Stupid thing. However, I am almost done and will be posting pictures of what I came out with. Not too shabby. Be even better when I figure out all the things this mobo can do. And unlock all 8 of the processors. I may actually buy Crysis 3. Definitely holding out for Metro Last Light though. And I still have to finish Far Cry 3. And then I'm going back to replay all these games in DX11 since I upgraded to Win 7 64...Still have my XP drive though.
