@Andromedamnit - Hmmmm....That is an interesting thought - about the romance music in me3. Currently we have been looking at editing in Thane's romance theme from ME2 (people adding their .02 about a month or so back, regarding new music). I will toss this out with the mod group and see how they respond. Truth be told, I can't recall the music (in me3), never having experienced it first hand. I will look it up, and give it a listen.

BTW, enjoy your new "Thane goodness" (statue). Cheers!

No, he doesn't. Another missed opportunity. He does flirt with her though a little and Shep will autoflirt back. He'll then ask if she's serious with her flirting and you have the choice of saying yes or no. If you say yes it can lead to some awkward stuff during the Citadel party I think, Shep getting James drunk and pretty much date raping him. I didn't try it so I'm not a 100% sure (would never do that to James).

Curiosity is getting the best of me, but this vid you watch did it have a blonde Shep that romanced Garrus?

Dang, so a Thanemancing Shepard could have just been at Thane's memorial and then she starts autoflirting with James?  and there was I about to get huffy if they just defaulted her to the 'I haven't met the right person yet'

Mini action Thane is here !  He's actually pretty nifty even though the facial features are a little too feminine. He's currently pointing his Shuriken at my dog (most parcels at my house are for her, think she thought he was a new chew!)

@coldwetn0se the ME3 soundtrack is on my playlist at work and is steadily growing on me. I would say the romance track '(I was lost without you) isn't necessarily better than the ME2 one... But it is used a lot throughout the game as far as I can recall.  I've only gone to the end twice. Once with my original stoical Shepard (after 5 months of grieving and stamping on the box) and once with a Liaramancing Femshep called Jay. I loved that Shepard (Halle Berry look-alike / adept) but the Liara romance is not a patch on Thane's, even though she gets 3 games and a crapton of DLC. Thane's is still more emotionally powerful. in the short screentime he gets.

@mnomaha - And Thank God ya do, woman! I am taking you to "Last Thursday" on Alberta St. once you get here...that is where you will find the likes of unicycling/kilt-wearing/bagpipe playing/cosplayers. And there is food, booze (or rootbeer, if you choose), music and art. Some of it really interesting.

@Andromedamnit - (still love the name...lol). I still haven't done my homework, and listen to the music yet. It could be that many chose the ME2 music as their favorite choice, because it is not in the vanilla game (I think), but was in the Citadel DLC during the memorial. A way of "taking" back the music from a funeral, and putting it the context of romance again. Okay, that might just be me thinking that. LOL. Still, I will listen to the me3 romance theme, since it will be some time before I hear it first hand (in-game, that is).

Yeah... This doesn't usually happen in my playthroughs because of when I do the Citadel DLC, but it could happen yes.

Well, personally I check in on the ME3 forums maybe... 2-3 times a month now since the new forums got up. I just don't want to have anything to do with ME anymore in that regard; moving on to other games and forgetting the ME3 crap.

Edit: P.S. @coldi - I've been keeping an eye on your dA journal... looks like it's going great! So much work and effort has gone into it and it sounds like it's going to be amazing. I'm afraid at the moment I just can't bring myself to play ME3... but if that ever changes I'll be sure to pick up a PC copy so I can check out this mod! Sorry I couldn't have been of any help.

@Cosmo - I don't know what it is, but all is right in the world when someone decided to draw Fenris as Thane in a crossover. This isn't to detract from Thane in the slightest. Just as a crossover.....it works. Mmmmmmmm.


I have a few pics to add from our traveling Thane plushie, AND I finally finished painting my PDS sculpture early this morning. She will be keeping plushie Thane company on his travels....as soon as she "dries out". I have know doubt, Thane will get her right as rain. Eventually.

It is Zevran - but not as Thane. I'll check his post to see who he is. That's also his Merrill. He's did a Mass Effect mixed with Dragon Age, and now he's doing Dragon Age mixed with Mass Effect.
