Those foundation comics that are being churned out;I hope they do one for Thane and I hope they do justice to Thane's background story.
I'd like to know:
#1 How he was raised age 0-6 years? Was he treated with a distant kindness by his mother and father (i'm reminded of one of the vignettes from the Joy Luck Club; the little girl being pampered by a distant but loving mother only to be given away in an arranged marriage)? Is this when he learned his religion? Did he have any understanding of the dynamics of husband/wife/mother/father from his own familial perceptions?
#2 Age 6 -19 What planets did he visit when working for the Hanar (Earth maybe) and why such a fascination with humanity's literature (Thomas Hobbs), its beliefs (the soul), its people (Mouse)? I think Thane secretly is attracted to humans.
#3 Age 19-29 Why did he stay longer and longer away from his family as the years went by? In the Citadel DLC Kolyat mentions that Thane said he put ego and enemies ahead of family at one point. I wonder if he let his job consume him, seeing himself as being purposed as the eliminator of bad people in the galaxy through his contracts, and being the best at it.
#4 Age 29-39 How long did he take to hunt down Irikah's killers? I ask this because he contradicts himself in the game. He tells Shepard he hasn't SEEN or spoken to Kolyat in 10 years, last seeing him at Irikah's funeral, but tells Kolyat on his LM that he went back to see him after he finished hunting down Irikah's killers and that Kolyat was grown. Plus he's been on Ilium 2 years without seeing Kolyat during that time.
#4 When did he acquire Kepral's? I wonder if he had it while married to Irikah. I am reading a little deeper into things here, but Cystic Fibrosis can affect fertility, and I always wondered why he and Irikah only had one child. I doubt it was financial, or that the Hanar instituted a one child policy (aunts and uncles means Irikah had more than one sibling). Kolyat sure could have used a playmate, and well sometimes slip ups happen.
#5 How long (and how many) was he taking jobs with the goal towards suicide?
#6 What the heck happened to him during those 6 months without Shepard's friendship/companionship?
Overall, I hope for more about Drell culture and I hope to see a Drell female (without breast implants). I'd assume they'd have ballerina bodies (lithe and athletic).

I saw that, I was going to comment but it had gone downhill fast with the usual trolling so I gave it a miss. I'll never get to play the MOD because there's no way in hell that I'll be buying ME3 for PC but I really want to know how it turns out. I'm actually still a bit annoyed with myself for buying citadel. Not that it wasn't any good, it was certainly better than nothing but it couldn't fix the game enough to justify the expense. I realized last week that I'll never bother playing ME3 again, the prospect of trying actually bores me...so, I traded my Collectors Edition in for £4, I'm keeping ME & ME2 though because I think I'm close to being able to enjoy them again.

They deserve it mnomaha, I find it astounding that those idiots care about options that they would never have had to see. I don't think I've *ever* posted in a thread arguing that a character should not get x or y...although I have posted that characters that already have x and y should not be getting z until those that were left out got better treatment.

Yeah, we've all been saying that for a very long time. It's a shame that the younger generation as a whole, and the males in it, haven't got a basic understanding of empathy. I think that if they did, most of the problems we had (in the threads I mean) wouldn't have been so bad.
