He is just too freaking cool to let die! I mean how cool would just a side quest for the cure be? So the player gets to choose if Thane lives or dies in the end instead of it forced either way. Everyone is happy. Haters can kill him and lovers can keep him. or I can beg......and I will beg!

that being said, if they DO cure him, I'd want them to be really careful in how they write it. Done too easily and I think it'll really cheapen everything in ME2. I'm honestly afraid they wouldn't be able to write it in a way that wouldn't feel like a cop-out.

Gather 1 million of each resource and Mordin does a research project. :innocent:
*pats Thaneophiles on the shoulder*
Please don't let this turn into the mindless yabbering that is the current Tali thread.

It would be awesome for them to give us the option to cure him. I would understand their reasons if this didn't happen, but...I would be very sad.

The more I read on these posts, the more I support DLC to cure Thane, or an optional side mission.
I mean, Bioware is big on giving choices, I couldn't possibly see them not giving us the choice to save our only terminally ill squadmate.
Also, in response to the 'Bioware doesn't like petitions,' comment. I'm not at all trying to irritate Bioware devs, and I'm positive neither are the supportive / non-supportive posters. I have a feeling they'll give an option to cure him, if not, why not let the devs hear us?
I support the devs (pretty much buy all of their stuff lol), but as their consumer, I just want to let them know how much of a wonderful job they've done with Thane. So much, that we want to cure his illness.

Are you interested in supporting a cure for Thane? Want to keep him around as a continued Love Interest or simply some healthy bromance? Then please support a fanclub, and join us! Adjust your sig and include us!
Cure Thane Krios Fan-Club!
Thane is a great character overall. I've seen some pretty heavy support for him! So male or female alike, let's show Bioware Devs we want Thane to continue to be an integral part of the Mass Effect Story - healthily!
*Edit* If you want to support Thane, please post. I'm already reading some posters accepting the 'typical' sickness outcome. There's some forshadowing in the game he may be cured. Thane is one of the poster characters, not to mention all the time the Devs have invested in his character. So why would they let him die?
C'mon folks, let's give the devs a little push towards a possible cure for Thane Krios!
hell yeah!
