There are some good ones at the end of the recruitment mission. Video from the game is probably more helpful, but I can take screenshots if you'd like.

There's also the assasin trailer on youtube:

I don't know how to take screenshots so that would be great if you could.

Finished the game yesterday and it was great. And THE scene with Thane was beautiful (short though). But why am I writing?Oh, yes, I want Thane in ME3, so much ... it would be such a waste to let him die. So sign me in :)

I watched a bit of the Thane romance on YouTube, and looking at it a second time, I've got to admit - I'm a little less anti-cure. Thane says that Hanar scientists are working on a cure/treatment, but he thinks he will die before he can benefit from it...

My point is, that now, if a cure did happen, it wouldn't come from nowhere and would be less corny. I think. I dunno why I missed all this when I played - I think I was rushing.

I wonder if Thane could put himself in cryo for a year or two?

Allz I can say is, it would be a terrible shame to create a character like Thane, who was specifically designed to be and LI for Femsheps, I am sure alot of thought went into his character design to make him appealing as an alien LI - just to kill him off in ME3 without any sort of chance to cure or atleast prolong his life somehow.

I mean if Bioware does infact allow Shepard to have a happy ending with his/her LI then it would be terribly unfair to his fans if Thane were not included.

Yes, there is the groundwork for a cure. The hanar just need a kick in the tentacles *coughMORDINcough* to get it ready in time!

There is no doubt in my mind that Mordin could definately pull it off, though the more I think on it the more I think it's much too convenient - Personally I think Mordin's main focus in ME3 will be whether or not to cure the Genophage, I mean that has GOT to be one of the choices in ME3 and it was his lifes work after all so I am ruling Mordin out for finding a cure for Thane.

If there is any chance I do believe it's with the Hanar - after all they have more knowledge about the Drell than any other species but that's just IMO.

Eh, I'm not sure I want Mordin to be curing the genophage. The krogan story is very sad, but a lot of them (including Wrex and Grunt) seem to think that it's for the best too. And they are a scary violent race.

That's why I kind of think Shepard is gonna bite it for real at the end of ME3. You do have a point, though, it wouldn't be fair to play favorites. Either everyone will be an option, or no one will.

Nah I think it should be cured - afterall the Krogan are a race just like any other and judging by Mordin's reaction to the dead female Krogan I'd say he too would like it to be cured, because he realized just how desperate the race had become when a perfectly healthy sterile female lets herself become a test subject to all kinds of horrible experiments in the hopes that a cure could be found.

We've seen from the game that while there are savage blood thirsty Krogan such as Garm - the leader of the blood pack there are also quite civilized Krogan such as Wrex and seeing as Wrex is in a position of power I really do believe he could do great things for his race if the Genophage were indeed cured.

@ebidebby - you see the problem I would have with Shepard kicking it in ME3 is because BioWare have already played the death card, granted yes they brought Shepard back to life again but to spend ALL that time and effort - 2 years in total to bring Shepard back, just to kill him/her off AGAIN seems a tad silly to me really. I think Shepard deserves to live and have some shore time with his/her LI seeing all the **** he/she has been through from ME1.

But I guess there are those people who like angsty endings  - so the player should have a choice of a happy or sad ending for their Shepard after all that's basically what the ME series has been about - when it all boils down to it - Shepard's choices in the games are what defines each and every players individual Shepards - to take that away from us at the end of ME3, in other words the conclusion of our own Shepards' story not in our hands that would REALLY SUCK IMO.

My vote would be to adjust the krogan fertility rates. Instead of masses of stillborns, etc, have a female only be able to conceive 1-2, 3 max times in their lives. Then there wouldn't be fights for fertile females, and would encourage stable family situations instead of feudal or clan/breeding camp situations.

That might be a lot more complicated, but ultimately, a fairer result then cure or genophage.  But I'd rather have Mordin focus on curing the drell first, then the krogan later, since the genophage doesn't seem as urgent to me.

Yeah I totally understand where you're coming from RShara, but I just think it's much too convenient for Mordin to be curing it - like why didn't he mention anything in ME2 about it?

We don't even know if we will have him (Mordin) back as a squaddie for definate and if we do he'll be assisting Shepard in his/her fight against the Reapers I don't think he's going to have the time to find a cure for the Drell and more importantly Thane who actually doesn't have all that long left.

I think ultimately the cure does reside with the Hanar or someone on Kahje - a Drell scientist even? Someone who has been studying it most likely and if it were the case we may get to visit Kahje and maybe assist somehow in finding a cure - which IMO could make for a very interesting mission in ME3.
