I'm in the UK and bought the standard edition of ME2, cerberus code was in the box.
Is the version on the Xbox storefront any different? it's a staggeringly rip-off 1200 MS points for something i think i got in the box for free anyway.
i don't want to risk my MS points if it's the same, just some EA trick to rip people off?
Cerberus Network, 1200 MS points?

They should both be the same.
It's EA's new way to try and tap the used games market for money. Buy the game new in box and you get a promotion code to get the network gratis. Buy it used and you'll have to pay $15 to get it. The question is more or less will it be worth it to get the cerberus network if you buy used. Only time will tell that one.

Cerberus Cards are not always going to ship with ME2 copies, and the code you have is for the same DLC you see listed on XBL Marketplace, so no EA is not ripping you off they are basically giving you 1200MS Pts(technically).
If you rent ME2 it will not have a Cerberus card with it, or if it's purchased say 3-4 months from now, it will likely not have anything but the manual and an ad for BFBC2, or MOH
