can you obtain ashley williams as a squad member?  i just played the mission where you stop the collectors attack on the colony she was stationed at.  twords the end of the conversation you can ask her to join you... she refused.  my question is, is it possible to get her to join, and i just didnt say the right things, or is she just pissed at you no matter what?

Ashley won't join you no matter what.



Hopefully, she can be a squad member again in ME3.

idk. I saved Kaiden in ME1. And he was just pissed at me. I'm 100% confident neither can be playable in ME2.

they hook back up with you in me3, that was one of the reasons the me1 LI's weren't recruitable for me2 because they could die in the final mission, which I guess in a way makes the me2 LI's much more interesting that way.



for example when i played through i really grew on miranda and on the final mission i saw her almost die twice and both times freaked the hell out of me. i mean yeah it was big what they did in me1 but what they did in me2? makes the whole me1 thing look... like something less

If you saved her and didn't romance Liara, she's in your squad at the very beginning of the game.

Ashley makes it clear on Horizon...and in the "apology" letter (Quotes because I don't really think it is one.) that she has no idea how she feels about much of anything.

I'm dissapointed with her, she should have trusted me like Garrus did. Then theres liara.. she might as well have died on the normandy, the thing on illium is not her.

Unfortunately we must wait Mass Effect 3, and maybe we'll have a chance to have with us Ashley or Liara...but nothing is sure.
