Thanks to the forums I'm aware of the patch. Where are we supposed to find patches on the site? I don't see that link anywhere. Would be nice if they had one and made an announcement when patches are realeased.

Yeah I am a bit disapointed that I did not find an update option in game dispite all the other options for downloading content. Seems a pretty big oversight.

I only learned of the patch from talking to a friend in real life. Kind of odd.

I currently see it on the left side that says "My games" and pulls out to say "Game patches"
You may have to register your game first but it doesn't look that way.

they keep moving that thing around. I have been waiting for an official patch to clear up the dex/str weapon issue and I can never figure out where to look for it either.
They need to redo the tabs at the top to junk some of the redundant stuff and make a centralized patching and official uploads section. the front splash page with add-ons is fine for advertising but that is not where I want to be for patches and uploads.

H'mmm... when I got to 'My Games' on the left hand menu the pullout only gives me my progress in Dragon Age: Origins. It doesn't say anything about patches. I too only heard about it from a friend...
It's not like I'm struggling with bugs - the game seems to me commendably solid; I've had no crashes in over a hundred hours of play - but I'd like to have it.
On the old forums.bioware.com site you can easily navigate to patches for any of your games, but unfortunately Dragon Age doesn't appear as one of your games

You do not need to download patches prior to Patch 1.02a. Downloading Patch 1.02a contains all previous patches. Downloading Patch 1.02a will provide you with all patch data available.

Now's the Question.... Once down loaded... Do you still have to manually insert them into a systems game file like in the yesteryear????

Once you've downloaded the patch, double click to install and voila. That's it. No more effort needed.

Hey there. I deleted the Profile.dap and I tried the game again; still didn't work.
I downloaded the patch 1.04, and I can't use it because I'm on a Mac. Can anyone help?

I am on a PC and downloaded patch 1.04...it doesn't work for me either...the game plays and all but that patch doesn't even install, it downloads and saves it where I want it to, but when I click run it doesn't do a thing. would really like to know why...it didn't come with my recently purchased awakenings either, that was only 1.03. have glitches there too, the whole unauthorized deal...that sux, game itself has been rock solid, only minor stuttering on awakenings in the beginning but that might be my computer working hard to play the game.
