Also, try using a different browser that has no plugins or add-ons. I recommend downloading and installing Opera if you dont already have it.

Bioware, my wallet is out, I'm ready to buy Arrival, but until I get a solution for the DLC problems, it isn't going to happen.

I get to 95%, then I get the same error, with Arrival. I've never had a problem with Bioware DLC on this computer before. (Running Windows 7 64 Bit.)
This thread is over a year old... My guess is Bioware have no idea?
EDIT: okay, I've downloaded it a total of 4 times now. Most recently on my laptop (running Vista 32 bit), and I get the same error.

I'm having the same issue. I had to reinstall ME2 and all the dlc content right before Arrival launch, and just as I'm about to install the last 3 dlc's I started to get that NSIS error message...wtf? I mean, I was able to download and install the other 6-7 dlc's (Normandy Crash, Cerebus Armor/Weapons/Kasumi Memories, etc.) It just appears to be Overlord, Shadowbroker, and Zaeed dlc. I was able to install and finish all these dlc's on this computer 6 months ago with no issue..therefore it MUST be an issue at Bioware...please fix!
All my previous dlc has worked no problem( same computer, same setup blablabla) Arrival, however gives me the same NSIS crap EVERY EFFING TIME. I am with you.........Bioware........Anybody home????

Mass Effect 2 PC Technical Support (Spoilers Warning)
This forum is for fans and owners of Mass Effect 2 on the PC to assist each other with technical questions. Official game support is provided by Electronic Arts, but fans are encouraged to try to assist each other here.
Download success varies depending on which browser you use, and which add-ons they have installed. The most stable broswer so far seems to be a vanilla install of Opera. Also, if you have any form of wireless, either local networking or internet, the packet loss caused by interference in the radio signals could also be the cause of your problems.
Given the amount of people who weer able to download and play it without hassle, it seems to indicate the problem lies with your local machine, rather than the DLC.

That logic is flawed, how could we all, have the SAME conflict when we live in completely different countries, have tried other browsers, other computers, CABLE AND wireless connections and haven't found solutions and it still be the fault of our "local machine"'s?
More likely it is something wrong with BOTH the download and/or our machines. Some small error/kink in the isntaller is tripping some flag (which is perhaps being overly sensitively or falsely tripped due fault at our end).

The fact is, there is no such thing as a standard when it comes to a PC, and as such, there is no way any developer, no matter what size their budget, can possibly go along and code their product to take into account every single possible combination of hardware and software available on the market. Especially when it comes to running an operating system like Windows, which is not exactly reknowned for its stability, or security.
This is why I say it has something to do with the local machine, and its particular settings. It could be UAC related, it could bethe 64/32 translation table at fault, you might have a dodgy switch, network cable, network card, or ISP fault which is causing the issue.
Here is what I would recommend doing, and do them all, not just try one at a time, unless you got plenty of time to spare;
1) Perform a full virus/malware scan prior to downloading
2) Perform an integrity check on your system drives prior to downloading
3) Completely clear your browser cache.
4) Disable all download managers or accelators
5) Disable Antivirus whilst downloading the install file. Some AV packages can corrupt downloads.
6) Nvidia Firewall known to give problems, disable/remove it if its been installed
7) When installing, make sure you run it as administrator, and that UAC is disabled.

These have been done, and the chances that we all have the same fault caused by any of those is hugely low. Although, could I ask you how large your file is? Mine's 879MB (900,835KB).
REQUEST! Could any other people having issues with this try doing the following.
Go run (windows key + r), then drag the installer icon into the black window that appears (this saves you typing out the address manually) so that you end up with C:\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ME2_Arrival.exe, then add 'space' and '/NCRC'. (so you end up with ME2_Arrival.exe /NCRC) - this'll 'bypass' the verification and throw you right into the installer. (Maybe you'll even get lucky. *fingers crossed*)
Let me know your results, if we all hit the corruption warning at the same point maybe we can convince Bioware to upload a new version for us. XD
http://img857.images...57/289/ncrc.jpg < screen of where I hit the "corrupt" error. Filename: "BioD_ArvLvl1_600PrsnLwr_LOC_FRA.pcc". (You know what's ironic! It seems like it's something wrong with a French language specific file! I don't want this in French! XD)
- Okay, I just tried all this with another download of it and got damn near 76% percent before the corruption error. And it had nothing to do with French files this time. XD So perhaps it really is something up with our connections, that's really odd... condisering there's quite a few of us, from very different countries (well, presumably you aren't all Australian).

I have to say I am really annoyed after having also experienced the Mass Effect 2 server connection 10 min prior to that.
Is anyone EVER going to address the unreliability of this system we use for authentication and DLCs?

Then after 302490239480923 NSIS Error, then it downloaded it right.
I don't know why this happens... i had no problems in downloading lots of game through EADM or Steam...
I'm from Patagonia, Argentina, if that helps.

Alternate Appearance Pack 1 (Garrus, Thane, Jack)
Equalizer Pack
Aegis Pack
Firepower Pack
Zaeed - The Price of Revenge (Cerberus Network)
Cerberus Weapon and Armor (Cerberus Network)
Normandy Crash Site (Cerberus Network)
Cerberus Arc Projector (Cerberus Network)
Firewalker Pack (Cerberus Network)
Now I downloaded Kasumi - Stolen Memory and can't get it to install, it gives me the same error message; using the /NCRC override doesn't help either. I live in South Africa so it took me 8 hours to download because the internet is so slow here, and I don't want to do that again.
I have no idea how 9 can install perfectly then 1 gives me so much trouble. I don't know what to do now...

The only thing that springs to mind is you are getting these errors due to latency timeouts. Kasumi is about 1gb in size, compared to the others which are far smaller, thus the less time to download will mean less chance for latency errors to crop up. If you have friends/family in anopther country with decent internet access, you could ask them to download, throw it onto a thumb drive and snail-mail it to you. Apart from that, all I can suggest is to keep trying, preferably using a browser thath does not have any add-ons or download managers installed. Opera and Chrome seem to be the most reliable for this.
