My mage did the same thing.

My human noble's first instinct was to release him because a) he was Howe's prisoner and B) he was a noble - nobles hav to look out for eachother. But then, even though she hadn't met Vaughn in person, she remembered a bit of the gossip about him. Up until Howe's betrayal, she had expected and accepted that soon she'd be married off in a political arranged marriage and, as daughter to a Teyrn, the three most powerful eligible batchelors were the two grown up sons of the arls Thomas Howe, Vaughn and the brother of the third arl with too young a son, Bann Teagan.
So she decided to question him a bit. And then she thought "So that's why mother gave father that cold stare the one time he even dared mention this creep." And she left him locked in the cell.
Mind you that was on m very first playthrough so I had no idea what Vaughn had done.

My male HN didn't know about it either. But when he talked to Vaughan he started spouting off about 'knife ears' and things. I left him in the cell alright. But I knifed him first.

Ser Perth, Ser Landry (if you don't kill him), Sgt Kylon, Gorim, Ser Gilmore. All delicious.

Bann Alfstanna on the female side for sure. Maybe Bella. And Anora if you're a HNM.

I'm all for some Teaghan love. And Teaghan as King? That could work - except for my HNF, in which case screw Alistair, my Cousland femmes will be Queen and Teaghan can be King-Consort.

[Edited because I'm an idiot and left something out.]

Bann Alfstanna is the ONLY NPC I would ever pair with Alistair if I wasn't romancing him, she is just that awesome. If I don't end up romancing him, I imagine that he and Alfstanna end up together through awkward and sweet circumstances. Alistair wouldn't stand a chance:P.

Excuse me? Are you saying that Aussie girls are barely literate (examines first class honours degree), xenophobic (examines list of friends who aren't Aussies), or big eaters (okay you got me there)?

Visa definitely not revoked - we'd rather lie in wait with whacking big sticks to mete out a better form of punishment. ;)

Perhaps I should have said... "Has the sense of humor of a Vulcan". Image IPB

And if the Xenephobic thing got to you - watch the news... or will that get in the way of "Teagan Love" Image IPBImage IPB

Plus... you made some truly awesome points about relogious studies in a different post... maybe you're an aberration?

Because most home-girls I know would consider Darkspawn the true essence of manhood... way better than a caveman Image IPB

Okay... now put down that club... and broadsword... oh-oh...

Normally I wouldn't drop out of nowhere to pimp out a mod that isn't my own... but this one seems quite relevant to you all's interests. Epilogue edit that lets us marry Teagan? Tyvm. x)

I told him I would open the cell and he said he would give me a key.  I took the key, killed him, and opened the cell.  I kept my word. I never once said I would let him live.

Ser Landry is a nice looking man too.   I'd like to further discuss his concept of honor over a nice glass of wine, yes?  I was so sure he and I could come to a mutually satisfying agreement, but those military types in those days, all serious and duty,. *blows raspberries*

Lord... you girls have some serious issues...

What next? A love scene mod for Teagan?

Thank Goodness that boys are *far* more well adjusted than you deviants...

The one who asks Loghain "What precisely happened at Ostagar?" Very yummy and nice voice too.

Hm, I must be the only one who doesn't find Teagan appealing Image IPB his voice is great though Image IPB

Ser Gilmore is still my favorite NPC Image IPB AND NIEL! Wish I could have saved him Image IPB or at least do something with him in mage origin Image IPB XD oooh, and Tamlen! :3 and you kinda can have a small, uh, discussion? with him ^.^ oh yes, if anyone wants to know: I know where you find Tamlen ^0^ I has a vid of it :3 (I voicing in it and I am loud, be warned!).

ANYWAYS! Um...Gorim and Leske are favs, just not obsessive with them like I am with the last three Image IPB ooh! And the groom for the female city elf :3 can't remember his name atm Image IPB but he's up in the obsessive-ness though Image IPB and now that I redid Cullen, he's growing on me...XD

Definitely not true - but it is true that most Aussie guys would think the broodmother is pretty cute. They're not picky.

If the mage girls can have Cullen then from a mage boy's point of view I would like to put in a word for Senior Enchanter Leorah (the elf mage with the spider problem). Am I alone in this? As during the broken circle quest the door to the storage tunnels is locked I like to think she took refuge in there.

I'd love to have a romance with Cullen. Or Jowan. My FEM had a slight crush on those two, though mostly because of looks. Sorta like you see someone and think, "I would" Image IPB Actually, she'd have a romance with anyone, she's on the easy side.

My brother and his girlfriend have thought up some unusual ones that would... certainly add some variety to the game. Their suggestions are - Shale, Sten, and Sandal. Or Boadhn Fedik. Or Connor. Or really any other NPC in the game. Image IPB

Or otherwise, having Shale and Sten as a couple.

@TripLight, since I apparently cannot quote: I can sign on to that. Older men always seem to be the awesome ones in games like these. Duncan and Riordan particularly.

Having said that, my Dalish Elf I always played as having a thing for Tamlen (which was actually a dialogue choice I believe). It was quite interesting playing a naive elf girl who goes stone cold and dutiful after the DE origin.

For me personally though? Bann Teagan. Oh yes. Hell, if you're not playing the Human Noble origin, Fergus as well. It's certainly something about bearded guys. ^^;

Jowan and Cullen were cute (personality-wise) but the former was a bit whiny, and the latter is a no-no after the circle questline.

According to name-meanings.com Teagan means "attractive" in Gaelic.

Thought I'd go ahead and brave the minefield of emoticons in this thread to share that little piece of trivia with you fan-girls.

P.S: As a side note, Eamon means "wealthy protector" which is also quite appropriate.

LOL, thank you for your bravery, we don't bite ...much.

As to the topic...Varel Baern in Denerim's Alienage, for Scrapping the Barrel, in my eyes, the hottest elf-man in the game.

Meh I betrayed Jowan to the First Enchanter with my female elf mage. I find him a douche.

Oh, the flashbacks. Just like when she (broodmother) just was revealed.

Gratuitous amounts of alcohol and an overactive libido does not mix well.

To be a little on-topic, I found no gal my male mage could have been hitting on, and the gals have two guys. I imagined Jowan stealing all his girls in his backstory. But he was a good wingman though, he fixed up Oghren, Cammen and Alastair with women.

Yes, I remember him.  But I have a thing for Berwick.  Cute, sweet Berwick.  Especially as he looks when he's standing in the village waiting for the attack to begin, when he is more relaxed than when he is talking to you in the tavern.  C'mon devs, male PCs get to kiss Bella after the Redcliffe battle... my female elves want a little Berwick smooch!!!  He just disappears.

As long as Cammen is no where near this, I am good for it too.

Now for some Dwarf loving, Gorim is a must of course. Kardol for his voice alone(the pillow talk would be:O). Trian had the Cailan look going for him. And Leske during the DC origin.

AH poor Gorim. I want to squeeze his voice actor in a hug so tight he bursts, he was just so good. Seriously. My dwarf noble female is alone and unfinished because she is so heart-broken she lost Gorim. <3
