Mass Effect 3 will be the same as Return of the Jedi. Great and it will bring the whole story together. Yes I absolutly loved ME1 and ME2 if you have not noticed. Although it did have quirks and glitches, every game has those. If you have the coleector's edition, watch all the videos the developers will explain all. They are the"VANGUARD OF ALL GAMES".

Oh god, no not the mass effect version of ewaks...

I did not know that this was the game we were getting, but when I found out that the developers were planning on a trilogy I calmed down. I absolutly hated having to download the extras on the computer first. Trust me ME3 should rock if they take their time and don't fowl it up like Bungie did with the Halo series.

It will rock if they take the best of both ME1 and ME2 and perfect the story and romances AND have a suffiecient enough time and budget.

We shall see.

I really think that the developers have some tricks up their sleeves. I know there are dissapointments with the game, but they can't make everyone happy. Some loved the Mako and the redundancy of driving over planets. Others love the new style of getting minerals. I think that if we step back look at it as a continuance of the first ME (or a filler in between the best games ever) then we would all be happy. I will say that a ME movie would be awsome if say Michael Bay, James Cameron were to make it. The books are good.

I blame EA for the limitations in ME2. I do not blame Bioware. EA is eating all of the smaller companies, then dumping small budgets on them. EA should just stick with those horrid sports games and leave the RPG's to the big boys(BIOWARE AND BETHESDA). Anything that these two do is gold in my opnion. GOLD..........................

I'm very impressed with all the changes, the sequel blew the first game out of the water. I am dying to get my hands on the third game already. I was weirded out by the removal of the inventory system for about 5 minutes, then the game sucked me in and i didn't care anymore. I had one of the greatest gaming experiences in a very long time. This is a great rpg and a great shooter combined

I agree wizard as soon as you get adjusted you get sucked in.  I found myself running all the way to the bridge to hear Joker and EDI get into arguments and running all the way down to engineering to hear the Scotish guy and Gabby's talks.   I loved the story and can't wait to stick it to the council.  Posted Image

I was confused at first by the new inventory system as well. I got over it in a hurry.

I sprung for the extra dough to get the collector's edition only after I saw that I would need it to get the additional NPC. A special armor upgrade was not nearly enough.

i don't know man. I'm just let down. Mass Effect is the only RPG that I play and I've been waiting awhile for ME2. I might get over it, but I just don't know why devs don't just leave a good thing the way it is. Maybe make improvements, but don't re-do the whole game. Sometimes i feel like I'm playing Gears of War, when All I want too do is explore planets, go on side missions, and finally win the game. But they took half that stuff out.

I must be playing a different game. There are tons of side-quests, and unlike in the first game they are actually different this time around.

"more of a" got to read the fine print. other wise we'll be a slave on illium.

But that just makes no sense. The game is played in third person as opposed to first person... are there varying degrees of that? Not in this universe nor the ME2 universe.

What I really want, are more side-missions. I LOVE exploring or running across side-missions. But maybe thats just because I love the combat with my infiltrator. Since killing doesn't give experience gains, only completing missions do; I'd like there to be random 'hot-zones' in the world that are more or less "Drop in, kill the mercs/terrorists/whatever, keep any money/resources you find as payment".

If there's one thing that will kill this game, it's a lack of combat. Granted I'll play through it again, but sometimes I just want to drop everything and go kill stuff; and having money and resources coming in would kinda help me flesh out stuff for my team.(I've concentrated on weapon and tech upgrades for MY character, not my squad because dropping 75k cred on something that I don't use for a single upgrade isn't easy to do).

Oh, dear me, yes.

As flawed as it might have been for ME1, something like Pinnacle Station (except free, given the Cerberus Network system <__<) would be absolutely wonderful; it's actually FUN to fight in this game.

Even if we got some sort of VR trainer or something, I would love to see some sort of fast-action options to practice my strategies, find good squad builds, etc.

These posts by Shlevai and AngryTiger are full of win. I'd love for a Bioware dev to read this and have a lightbulb go off over their heads for a future DLC idea.

These were two major points. The character is that big thing in the middle of the screen all the time. If it doesn't move right, then it is a major problem.:police:

I'm glad I bought the CE of Mass Effect 2 (First CE I ever bought!). Its a great game if you're not a narrow-minded, oddly specific, RPG traditionalist who cannot handle change in any slight form.

My opinion of Mass Effect 2?

As a story, Mass Effect 1 is more gripping and emotional but as a game Mass Effect 2 is more fun to play.

My opinion is that if I had to go through ME1's gameplay again (uber-power 1/4th through the game, metric f***tons of useless gear, maxed money and omnigel, exasperating inventory) I'd kill someone irl.
[e]I'm sorry, I forgot about the 40 mins it takes you to kill everything on the map and find every resource node while trying not to slide back down the mountain you barely climbed.

This - usually I argue the same thing in detail, but since Deth did it already, a "this" will suffice.

For those that are complaining about not being able to land in the Mako and explore the surface of random planets.....have you not heard of the free Hammerhead download that is coming?
