Hi, I downloaded the DDE from direct2drive.co.uk.

While installing the game I activated the game here: https://activate.ea....do?locale=de_DE

When the installation was finished the game prompts me to activate the game, when I log in it can't verify the activation so I need to enter the product key. When I enter the product key it says: Activation completed "Big Green Circle with an arrow" you have successfully activated Dragon Age: Online on this computer using your ea account.
When I click on the circle it says next:
"We're sorry an error has occured.
Error: We are unable to connect to EA to activate Dragon Age: Origins on this computer using your account. Please try again later."

Well I tried after 7 hours and it still doesn't work. Any ideas? I already tried it with disabled firewall, disabled anti-virus software, etc. Do I need to forward a special port in my router, maybe?

PS: When I activated it online on the EA page I chose the German version, while I downlaoded the English version from D2D.co.uk, maybe this was wrong?
Well I can redownload the whole game with the EADM, but perhaps there is another way.

I wonder how many duplicate versions of the same advice will show up.  You are dealing with other gamers in this forum.  Real support is elsewhere on the EA servers, as per the top item in this forum (Stickied up there).  Since it was an EA download as well, all the more reason to contact them, not us.

Meanwhile six hours ago, this forum, all of these Social Site Forums, went into stasis, and don't change, except for the timers saying how many hours it's been since the last time the index could actually be properly refreshed.

Gamers will be answering various of these top twenty or so threads, before noticing the "AGES" of the last updates.  Some will repost their answers multiple times wairing to see their addition show up . .

Sorry you're having problems.  Best to post in the DA2 PC Tech Forum - http://social.biowar...egory/300/index
