Will the decisions we have made Dragon Age Origins effect any gameplay or decisions we have to make in Dragon Age Origins Awakening when ever we load up our characters?

I don't think anybody knows for sure at this point.

Rampant Speculation: There wouldn't be much point in allowing us to import if all you get out of it is your appearance, class, and stats. I figure that they must be using at least some of our choices.

They've said your decisions will carry over, not sure how much more precise they need to be.

I wonder if the decisions of every ending will be imported.

The only ones I know for sure is.

- How you killed the Archdemon.

- Who you picked to rule.

Also, if you're a male noble you'll get decisions based on your end status. After all, it will matter if you're declared king (or at least that's what I gathered).

I'd imagine it would be just as important whether or not you were princess-consort.

So the most interesting character to take over would be one that sleeps with a hardened Alistair who's married to Anora, with Loghain still alive?

Most of my characters have that ending.

Female Noble being made Queen should carry over into the expansion as well then.

Now, don't get your hopes up too high. I am sure that major decisions will be reflected (i.e. who killed the archdemon, who is king, and so on) but don't expect the world to completely reflect everything you did. This was a big selling point of ME2, but either Bioware over-played it or the audience over-hyped, and your decisions were barely reflected in the game world, besides exchanging the LI's head on their absurdly pink space outfits and emails you get from people who have no reason to email except to remind you of something you did for them.

From what I've heard about ME2, there was a significant difference in gameplay if you imported an ME1 save as opposed to starting anew. I do not know if someone who actually has the game and has played their save and started anew could enlighten us DA:O fans.

I wonder if anything would become of letting Avernus live, since there are two empty spell slots for that strange blood talent you can get in the WK DLC. I always let him live on my other playthroughs, but since learning he drops a robe, I'm fairly curious about what to do now on my new mage.

I will say that I too have heard from my Mass Effect friends that the transition between ME and ME2 is seamless and spectacular. I am hoping this is also the case with DA: Awakenings.

I would like to know where you heard this from, because it just isn't true. You get different intro dialogue (which is seen from the back, so they didn't even to re-animate the mouths of the speakers), you get a different head on a model in the opening, and you get to interact with a couple different NPC's if you killed a particular giant frog alien in ME1.

Don't forget you can get special sidequests that you can't get if you didn't transfer. All the news reports are different too. It also affects some codex entries.(Especially if you were paragon or renegade.) Lots of emails from characters you helped in the past. Continung your romance interest.
