Hey, guys. I'm kinda new to the community, though I've had DA:O for quite a while, and I have a question. For some reason, my profile doesn't display the pictures of my characters nor does it give accurate info on their lvls and equipment. The pictures are blank, and it is displaying them at lower lvls than they really are. No matter how many times I log into the game and the DA servers, it doesn't change. Would anyone know what is causing this? I'd really like for people to see my characters, as I enjoy looking at the characters of others. Plus, I'd like to use my main character's avatar picture as my profile picture here on the community. Any help on this would be greatly apprecitated.

I recall you have to sign up to not only Bioware but the forums themselves, which should give full access...but from what lve seen and hear, the whole Profile thing is broken...so l wouldnt sweat it.

I don;t know if it is 'broken' for the ps3 or not. PC originally had the similar issues, but users played around and tested various things and finally figured out most of the quirks you need to work around in order to get our profiles to update.

Ah, gotcha. I'm signed up with both Bioware and the forum, so I don't think that's the issue. I noticed a post by someone earlier mentioning that there's a bug with PS3 users and the forum profiles. I'm not overly tripped out about it, just wondering if anyone knew a way to fix it. Oh well. Thanks for the input, guys. Much appreciated.

It depends on what your problem is, without specifics it's hard to say what the solution is - or if there isn't one. Here is some general advice:
* You must be both logged in and connected to the server for updates to happen.
* You must use the same account ingame that you do here on the site.
* Updates are prioritised, with preference being given to those whose profiles are viewed by people other than themselves. So if your profile is not viewed by someone else, you may be continually bumped down the prioritised list and your profile will update only after all the 'popular' people's - or maybe never. So, have someone else view your profile - regularly - or do it yourself while not logged in to the site (so it doesn't know that it's you).
* Your firewall or router may be blocking needed ports, so you may need to make an exception for those.
* For console users, some data (picture files) is only uploaded on character creation and if it doesn't upload correctly then (a not uncommon issue) it never will.
Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head, anyway. Have you checked your profile diagnostics page to see if there are any problems there? What error codes are showing, if any?
