I would admit, though, I would be interested to know her skin tone...is it blue or does it have patterns on it that look like tattoos? Does she have fingernails? Are her eyes glowing like Draenei (WoW race) or do they have pupils...and if they do, are they vertical or rounded like humans? Do Quarians have hair on their heads?



If I knew that, not seeing her face (which is totally fine for me) would be actually a little helpful. Then I could let my imagination really take over. Or...maybe...haha, maybe they could let the PLAYER design her look from a number of presets so that fewer people would be dissatisfied.

  Yeah but see I won't be happy if they don't show her face now that they teased me about it so much (and from this post I know I'm not the only one).  I think it could potentially be a risk whether they show it or not.  For me personally it would be a huge let down.  And we have to remember...this is Bioware people.  I doubt they would give Tali a face that people would hate.  I have liked all the character models they have shown us in all of their titles.  So there is no doubt in my mind that they would do a perfect job!

On the upside, Bioware listened last time to everyone's complaints and ideas and took them on board, perhaps Tali will be revealed in ME 3. I do hope so.

Well, I didn't particularly take to Liara's face, and lots of people were against Miranda's face on the old forums. Faces are difficult to do for artists, because they're something that people are naturally sensitive towards.

To be honest I was expecting it not to be shown but yeah I was a little bit disappointed, just not surprised.

If it's never shown I'll be a bit bummed out about it but if they save it for 3 then that makes perfect sense to me. The only times I can imagine it being shown though is a dramatic death scene or another sex scene. She's probably my favourite character of the series thus far so I vote for the latter.

Tali in her helmet throws the whole romantic ambience off.  I was very very disapointed Bioware didnt show her face for the romance. Im really hoping for ME 3 they finally show Tali's Face.

Hell even in Babylon 5 at some point they showed what a Vorlon looks like under their encounter suit, you cant just never show it, it throws believability and immersion off. Especially if your romancing Tali.

That's interesting because I liked both their faces...Especially Liara because she looks a lot like Drew Barrymore

But I know, I do see your point...I guess I just have faith in the Artists at Bioware that they would make something that wouldn't be hideous or anything.

Think of it this way, how do you design how a race looks that are somewhat similar to Turians (three fingers etc) with it being original with all the diverse looks you got now? Though I have thought that maybe considering their accent-ish voice maybe they could take some inspiration from the Kaminoans along with the Togruta from Star Wars. Mix it up with the Asari look with the females and for the males look at the Faust (Star Wars) and drell. Or Just mix and match Asari, Drell, humans, and Turians. Because they must have smooth skin and not plates like the turians due to the suit.



As for the topic, hey, either we get to see her face or not, at least we got Tali. Though I'm EXTREMELY curious. And the clipping barely bugs me

I like the ideas of mixing some of the alien races we know and love   And like I mentioned, the clippage is just a pet peave of mine...one of those anal retentive things that you pick up. ROFL...I'm just glad to see this isn't happening throughout the entire game, because then Bioware and me would be having words

When it came that it just felt...odd.  Yeah, you can say she is talking and he is listening intently.  But still, when I'm listening to someone talk I'm not Stone Wall Jackson.  I'm reacting, nodding my head, I'm doing something!

EDIT:  Plus, if you watch the video, at one point, it looks like she slightly slaps your face

i think by not showing you her face there trying to build suspence or maybe saying ''shes want you imagen she is'' i dont want to see tali's face but id love to see a quarians face just to get some refrence


i think the only way we would get to see her face is in some sort of death scene with half her mask blown off or somthing and id much rather have a masked alive tali then an unmasked dead one
