So I got the trinket and used it on the floating orb and got the story about the caveman.  Is there more to this or is that it?  Just curious if I should be looking for more of this story somewhere else.  Thanks.

sad, it was a quiet interesting feature in me1 i though, but i think the dev,s had not enough time given to work on this so they made it a non important item.

I'm not sure, I suspect they may have purposely made it an obscure find to reward the players who did check every planet of every system of every cluster

where was this orb? I got the trinket too but have never seen where or how I could 'use' it...

It is on Eletania (the planet with the space monkeys and the missing probe). The terrain to drive there with the Mako is quite tedious.

Using the orb gives you an inst-level up, so go there when you're level 59.

the orb in on the attican system i dont remember the name of the planet but  thats the planet where the space monkeys are

I actually ran across another one on a snowy planet but didnt have the trinket at the time and I dont remember where it was.



A last little message said you'll never figure this out, dont try. VERY frustrating.

That other one doesn't have an orb. It was on one of the planets with Geth bases Hacket tells you to wipe out.
