Will Bioware release a patch to remove the Hack and Bypass minigames?
For some people they may be easy, but for me they are very frustrating and take me completely out of the immersion of the RPG shooter.

The way this discussion is going makes me think that some people have very fast cpu's which cause the timer to run out fast and others have slower cpu's giving them more time to hack. The "retards" who are having trouble (which includes me), paid good money for their games and deserve to be heard by BioWare. We are contributing financially to this game the non-retards are enjoying. If you don't want to patch the game, give us a "hack" to stop the timer.
Where in this discussion is there any indication that a faster CPU makes the timer go faster? That sounds absurd.
Yes, absurd indeed. One might even say it sounds

I hated that stupid QTE mini-game in ME1. I was actually really bad at it because I got all frantic so I always saved before doing it. I am glad they got rid of that mini-game.

I enjoy the hacking/bypass mini-games in ME2. Although, I will admit after finishing the game six times it is sometimes annoying to have to do them again but I still really enjoy them.

I actually prefer the ME1 mini game over both of the ME2 mini games simply because there are different difficulty levels, each of which takes less time on average to finish than the ME2 mini games.

What I didn't like was the fact that the different difficulty levels had no bearing on the quality of the items inside.
I don't like hacking so much because there is no skill involved, just waiting for the right line of data to show up. This wouldn't annoy me accept for the fact that you get less money the longer it takes you to complete it and there is nothing I can do complete it faster. It's just a matter of chance.

Hmm, not known with hacking or savegame editing...cruc1al wrote...
If I find that the lack of upgrades makes the game too difficult for my liking, I just edit my savegame.
Could you for instance edit the savegame so hacking times are slowed?
Since I am horribly stuck in a part where I need to bypass, but fail to succeed due to my wrist joint gone (docks had to mount my handbone directly to my armbones, making it now into ONE single bone) that could help me a lot... :S

I don't enjoy bypass as much, but it's definitely better than in ME1 by a long mile

I mean simply that I can give myself the amount of money I want by editing a savegame. By lack of upgrades I don't refer to upgrades that make hacking easier, but to upgrades that you can buy with the money you get from hacking terminals etc.

The bypass game is very simple. They could make it harder by adding more symbols (to add a bit of pressure getting it done in time) but to be honest, you have to do it so often that it would just become annoying. At least you can get it out of the way without much thought.
Both are better than the ME1 "minigame", though that did have the advantage of being able to skip it if you'd collected enough junk.
