That dialog keeps looping after you romanced her b/c there's no more romance dialog written after that point.  You still should be able to call her up.

I'd try leaving the Normandy (go to the Citadel or something) and then try going getting back on it and going up to your room.    See if that works.

After you talk to her after beating the final mission you should be able to call her up to your room.

I just don't see why Jack would stay. She seems to not care about stopping the Reapers, and even says she thinks she will leave after the suicide mission is done. I'd be ok if she returns, but she really has no reason to stick around.

jack has a excellent background and story. i would love for her to be a squadmate again in ME3. having her as a background npc character that isn't recruitable kind of ruins the point of a continuing relationship with her if you romanced her. (see liara, kaidan, and ashley in ME2 - and the encounters you have with them in ME2 are somewhat bitter)

I was one of the many that thought I would hate Jack when I saw her promos, then found her to be a surprisingly deep character. I was actually going, 'Gaaaah, I hate this girl!' before even playing. I was so sure I'd dislike her. I'm glad she proved me wrong.

But since everyone can die, and weve seen what kinda role that gets u in ME2 from the characters who could die in ME1....

She does have that attidude and it would make sense for her to leave after the mission, if she wasn't your romance option. I don't know about you guys, but their love scene definately struck me as a "please, dont ever leave my side again" kind of thing.

Also Bioware might do the awesome thing and let you pursue a more platonic relationship with Jack in ME3, if she wasn't your LI. Maybe she sticks around because being with the crew grows on her. One of my most memorable moments in Dragon Age was when Morrigan tells my character that she will always value their friendship. I would love it if a scene similar to that were to take place.
