Hi there.
I don't seem to have this option in the research tab.
I'm a level 30 soldier on an NG+.

Is there a specific point in the game where this becomes unlocked or have I found a bug?

well it was there on the "first" playthrough.

I have the advanced power option, I just can't respec normally. I can't figure out why.

is it perhaps the difficulty level? does insanity remove the option to be able to do so?

I think even in a NG+ the retrain Powers option is only available after the Horizon Mission (after that mission it is unlocked in a "regular" NG).

I assume none of you has played a NG+ up to that point? (I just started my first NG+ yesterday.)

Even if so it would have been nice to just undo all spent Squad points at the star of a NG+.

Think you have to complete one loyalty mission first

I am having this problem now...I have done Zaeed's loyalty mission so that doesn't help.

Retrain powers doesn't show up at all.

I'm think Retrain Powers becomes available after Horizon, not before. But I'm not entirely sure either.
