I've noticed a number of strange developements/bugs on my latest play through.  One is what I call the "Love Bug" ( no it has nothing to do with Volkswagons lol )

I am playing a female elf mage:

I am in a love approval rating of 100 with Alistair, he has asked me to choose between him and Leliana and I chose Leliana - Alistair is still in love with me and its still 100!  Also, the last time we went to party camp Alistair decided we should go to my tent!

Leliana on the other hand is 100 Adore and the conversations are locked into:
Tell me stories when you were a bard - I think we should break - I think you should leave!

I am sleeping with Alistair and Zevron and neither Alistair or Leleiana seem to care!

I have no idea what I did to cause this mixed up situation but because of it, I can't get Leliana into a conversation to start her personal quest.

The following are bugs (?) that have occured on my last 2 play throughs.

1.  Places of power - the last place of power is the Alienage tree.  I click on it, the black smoke appears and the quest doesn't update.  No matter how far back I go on saves, the quest will not update.

2.  Taken prisoner by Ser Cautherin and taken to Fort Draken.  I chose to do the quest to rescue Queen Anora from Arl Howe without Alistair so when we are caprtured I am in Fort Drakon alone.  No matter who comes to rescue me, the dialogue diamond is over the head of my character but no conversation can be started between my rescuers and I.  The only way I could continue the game was to choose to escape alone!

While the place of power bug has been with me for over a month, Frot Drakon bug appeared after I got the RTO add on.

It looks as if you will have to try breaking up with her to get her personal quest. This is a known bug (I think) that is solved by the update the Mac version hasn't gotten yet.



I'm on my second play through (this time as a Human Noble Rogue) and I was very careful about the questions I posed to Leliana and avoided with Alistar. I managed to get her personal quest, and then broke up with Alistar to get Leliana to 100% Love. Avoid any questions about "the Maker" and "friendship".



I was a bit shocked when she broke into song after we killed her nemesis.

how'd you get RTO on a mac?

I thought I posted at the bottom that I posted this in the wrong forum, I have the PC version and not a soul replied in the PC bug forums.

You can only have 2 relationships at a time. You'll have to break up with Allistair or Zevran to unlock relationship with Liliana.
