I'm also having this problem. I preloaded the game just over a week ago on steam, it unencrypted last night after it was released. I logged in to redeem all my various keys and then logged into the same account in DOA. I downloaded all the content, including the extra content unlocked by playing the flash game.



On the official site it then says that after being downloaded the content should appear in the "installed" tab. None of it does, and the version next to it all says "1" in red. I can only assume that the preload I have was of a patch higher than version one, as per above?



Being a UK customer last night was the first time I could play, so I've not manually updated with any patches.

Sounds bad...looks like Steam and Bioware needs to align their releases more

Same problem with Retail DVD version - Collectors edition DLC , Shale And Wardens keep all downloaded to 100%. But will not install and have version requirement 1.0 in red.



Other content that requires 1.0 has installed (blood dragon armour and webgame items) fine.

Not working here either. I installed tonight from the disc. Then I downloaded the Shale and Blood Armour DLCs, which worked fine. However, the required version is in RED text and states 1.0. I think the game auto updated when I installed tonight as the version is 1.0x (where x is either 1 or 3 depending upon which file is relevant). Therefore, it wont install the DLC content.

Just install manually with the DAupdater found in /Binship.

you DLC are cazip files found in /documents/dragonage/

I have the same problem here. DLC is v1.0 so it will not install. Any help please?

Patch screwed things up its eems, you can't DL and I can't load my saves becouse it's saved with DLC used.

Finaly got mine working Windows 7 64 bit



First went to game properties in steam menu did

Verfy of game cache then



Derframent cache



after made a shortcut to desktop with admin stats



then after pressed



widows button + r



typed services.msc found Dragon Ages Origins -Content Updater change it to auto matic apply then i stoped it ant started it



Started the game loged in and Finaly they downloaded and installed no prolbems



No idea this will help any one else tho but good luck

Wow really, I would have assumes it was 1.0 and higher.



If that is the case It is a big oversight and I am glad I obtained the DLC before they patched.

WOW. LOTS of problems with the new patch - and the game in general.



Me? I installed DAO from Steam on Tuesday, but my comp died the same day, so I haven't been able to play the game at all yet. That in itself sucks royally, but maybe it's a good thing, 'cause hopefully by the time I get my parts in and fix/upgrade my comp the worst of the bugs/crashes, etc will be fixed.
