WTF My achievements disappeared.

I start up my mass effect 2 today to find all my settings set to default and my achievements gone. wtf happened and is there a way i can fix this? i just beat the game so i obviosly wanna create a new character and get bonuses with the achievements this way makes me not even wanna ****ing play the game. someboday tell me whats up.

I have the same problem. I experienced a crash in game, had to relog to Cerberus Network on startup (never had to do this before) and re-choose my character rather than "Resume" the game.
Now all achievements are gone. Anyone have a solution for this?

Yup. I'm pissed. All those bonus abilities for a new character...GONE. Next time, make sure you backup the Profile folder.

Anyone heard any word from Bioware on this. I don't want to play again until i know if I'm completely boned, or just need to get a fix.

I've seen several threads about this issue, but I've not seen a posted fix for it.
