My room mate accidently knocwd over my 360 and it burned a ring in the disk, local game stops only carry the regular edition, CE was order only, otherwise they would just switch it out for me they said. Is there any way to purchase just disk 2 of the CE?

Disc 2 meaning game disc 2? if so the 2 play discs are exactly the same in both editions.

yes the actual disk, problem is the disks lok different, and I would like to keep the collection the same. Emailed EA but no response yet.

i know that blockbusters refurbishes disks for like 3-5$ so it might be worth a try instead of buying a new disk.

This is one of those burn rings that goes around the entire disk, dunno if you guys have ever seen one, but whenever a 360 gets bumped into or knocked over while a disk is in use the laser actually burns a ring into the disk somehow...not repairable lol I tried that......gamestop said its common and basically fried when this occures...

On the back of the manual it says you can apply for a replacement disc for £10 from EA, so that might be a good last resort?

I bet you are screwed if you specifically want the CE disk. I'm sure EA will sell you a replacement, but I'm betting it will just have the standard edition art on the top of it.



Really, it shouldn't be a big deal though. The disk is inside your xbox most of the time, so you don't even see it

Well I emailed EA 2 days ago about this and the jackass's sent me some reply about dragon age armor, like WTF? I think they have some computer setup that answers there emails now, very aggrivating.

Yeah im hoping not, I could get a replacement disk for free of the basic edition from gamestop, they said they'd do that, but id prefer to have matching disks...worse case scenario ill have to settle for that I suppose.

Haha, reminds me of when I e-mailed a company because I lost my member card and wanted to know how to get a replacement, and the guy e-mailed back asking me to provide my member number located on the back of the card (apparently thinking I wanted to change account details)     Thanks for not even reading my question!

I have the CE and I just noticed a crack in the center of my disc 1. I just sent EA an e-mail myself asking about a replacement.

I have the same problem. I was playing mass effect 2 for a few days when it stopped working and said disc 1 unreadable.

Edit:  I just talked to them and asked if I sent in a Collector's edition disc, if I would be able to get a collector's edition disc back.  They replied that a collector's edition disc would be sent back.
